We need him back asap

Like him or loathe him you can't deny the captaincy and the effect he has on the team, why he's rated as one of the best defenders in the league and an unsung hero in our title chasing side.
I hope his recovery is going well.

No coincidence that we have nose dived since he's been out

The communication between Etheridge and the defence was awful while Morrison has been out. Haven’t had chance to watch the QPR game yet so can’t comment on what it was like between the defence and Murphy.
Morrison gets a lot of stick on here, including from myself, but it’s obvious we’ve missed him. Going forward, I would say our best back four will be Richards, Bamba, Morrison and Bennett.
Once we have Richards and Morrison both fully fit, our defence will look much better. It’s no coincidence that we’ve performed badly at the back since Morrison was out injured.
Definitely wrong on him, I was calling for him to be dropped earlier on in the season.
Not sure when Morrison is due back?

I'd say we'd still be second and only maybe 5/6 points off Wolves had he not been injured

Just goes to show how big a character is he and what a vital player.
I wonder if those who called for him to be striped have changed their minds?

Anyone know how long he's going to be out for?

We should all get him a card apologising for doubting him!!! I for one fully admit I was wrong about him. He just goes about his business and let’s the others play around him. But it’s that business that seems to allow the others to play.

Nothing has annoyed me more than our own fans slating him. The occasional mistake, the same as any player.. But everyone seemed to get the magnifying glasses out whenever he'd put a foot wrong!
Great player, great in the air, and a great skipper!

I've never been a massive fan but there's no denying that this season we're a better team with him in it.
The one thing he has above our other centre backs is his ability to get his head to the ball even when he's not favourite.
Manga and Bamba are both great CBs and better on the ground and more pacey but in the Championship you absolutely have to have a centre back who will win the ball at both ends of the field. His steady approach appears to compliment Bamba and/or Manga.

Agree Morrison wins everything in the air

The old adage " you didn't realise what you got until it's gone"
I think that sums it up pretty well.

Good post and exactly how I feel.
One poster in particular (maybe more than one) was constantly slating him and dissecting each goal being down to him which was pathetic in my opinion.
The same when almost everyone wanted him stripped of the captaincy ffs and giving it to Gunnarsson who now wants to leave, Peltier and almost anyone else except Morrison!
People often can’t see the bigger picture but obviously Warnock can!!

Paul, good post indeed but we have to ask what does Neil Warnock know in comparison to some on here?!?!
