MIR SET FOR WOLVES

Real Madrid transfer target Rafa Mir is set to leave Valencia for Wolves, according to Marca.

Los Blancos made a bid of €500,000 (£440,000), but were outbid by the Championship side's €2m (£1.77m) offer. Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo gave the 20-year-old forward his debut at Valencia back in 2015.

Cannot see anyone catching them to be honest, the way they are playing at the moment they are on fire and running away with it.

I still think they will hit a rough patch, new signings could even unsettle them but the gap is now pretty hefty, it would take some really bad form to stop them now.

We've had a bad patch and gone up a spot  I think wolves can afford to lose a hefty amount of games and still get promoted now.

I am more interested in whether or not they will have breached ffp, QPR have come unstuck and they have spent a fair bit of cash already. So time will tell.

There are a lot of twists and turns yet though this season, and a long way to go still so it’s all to play for.

Think they have a 12 point lead over Derby?

Players will join them now, knowing they’re extremely likely to play in the Premier League next season.

They won’t be caught, even if they have a blip.

Just a shame that their fans have no humility.

They'll get hammered every week next season :thumbright:

I was with one of the Wolves backroom staff pre season, he said their Chinese owners have no respect for the FFP rules.

If he signs making a bold statement to the squad they have built before a ball was kicked .

They do look very good.

I hope they smash all our rivals.

FFP only seems to apply to clubs who spend and then start struggling. Seems like a big f**k over to me. Why haven't derby been stung with the money they've wasted in the last 3 years or so?

City had a 11 point gap on 7th spot.

Blown away in 10 days.

It can happen but I cannot see it happening to Wolves. Sadly.

Derby's losses have always been within FFP limits hence no action.

Wolves need to be careful their chairman's comments earlier this season where he as I'll but said he'd ignore FFP means the FA will scrutinise their accounts.
