“ Premier League footballer attacks supporters after abuse “

West Brom midfielder Jake Livermore is being investigated after entering the crowd and attacking a West Ham fan at the London Stadium during West Ham’s 2-1 win between the two sides last night.

It is believed that Livermore physically attacked a West Ham supporter after the fan allegedly shouted abuse at him relating to Livermore’s baby son who died in 2014.

Why is this news?

Good on Livermore I say.

Lets hope that fan gets punished too.

In this case it was about the death of his baby son back in 2014. How can people be so nasty

That is vile and no doubt the 'fan' who was not expecting a response is a coward. The police and club need to sort him out.

Apparently the West Ham fan first shouted something about cocaine, as Livermore took that at one point after his baby’s death.

Livermore laughed that off, before this sick comment was made.

It seems, rightly so, the whole football community is with Livermore on this.

The guy should be banned from football and forced to apologise face to face to Livermore

Hard to know what 5he truth is. But if it is true what that fan said then he is a dirty bit of scum and he got what he deserved.
