A bit of a break now before our next league game, with the FA Cup game on Saturday. So a question for all of you
What others sports are you interested in? Or do you follow any other football clubs?
Personally, enjoy watching the NHL (Ice Hockey). Wouldn’t say I root for a particular team, but enjoy watching it

Don't follow as in keep up to date with the teams or even the scores but I like the following teams :-
Green bay Packers ( My dad always watched them ) NFL
Boston Bruins ( big hitting team with a few good fighters over the years ) NHL
Wigan & Swinton ( rugby league ) - My mate used to play for Wigan but now transferred to Swinton so I do keep an eye on the scores
Nothing much else I support but I'll watch anything

No other sports, but I lived in Rome for four years, and follow SS Lazio. I try to get over to a home game every year.

Cardiff are actually my 3rd favourite.
1st .... Bargoed youth rugby team ... my son plays for them.
2nd .... Parc Bryn Bach running club ..... i run for them.
3rd .... Cardiff City
Then there`s 3 teams i always want to do well.
4th ..... Wales football team
5th ... Tredegar Town
6th .... Merthyr Town
The only sports i watch on the telly are Athletics and football from
whatever league Cardiff are in. I`ve got no interest in premiership football
without Cardiff whatsoever. I`d honestly rather eat my own vomit than
support any english club and actually feel sorry for welsh people that do!

Women's Triathlon. Especially the bit after the swim when they mount their bikes.

I run and cycle as often as I can.
Test Cricket and Rugby Union are my other favourite sports.

Ned, NFL heading toward the Super Bowl for me!
Always enjoyed but had my first experience of a 'live' game in October and loved it! An abject lesson in 'customer experience' by any standards!
Also enjoyed the darts this week and it was great to se some newbies coming through. The young Dutchman Dimitri Van den Burgh, the Welsh boy Jamie Lewis and (deserved) new World Champion Ben Cross
Was rooting for Jamie Lewis but would like to have seen Phil Taylor do it in his last tournament. Couldn't argue with the Ben Cross win though and IMHO anyone but the talented yet pathetic Michael Van Gerwen (refusing a post-loss Press Conference when he's the first to 'rub it in' when he wins) was good for me!

Football-Ton And Gelli Amateurs-both my adult sons play/played for them-one has had to sadly retire after breaking his leg in 3 places at the end of last season. The oldest one is 31 and still going strong, he's represented Wales at Amateur Level.
Rugby Union-Ystrad Rhondda RFC-usually go and watch them 8/10 times a season, my local team and I drink in the Club as well
I'd rather go and watch these before I go and watch CCFC who are 3rd on my list these days, been 4 times this season.

I did a bit of running 10-12 years ago ( London marathon 3 times) i gave up due to dodgy knees, so i got into road cycling then last year decided to enter the Cardiff triathlon, so that's my thing at the moment, just wish i had done it years ago.
My category at mumbles triathlon was vintage veteran.

Always been a West Ham fan until the move and badge change etc, kind of changed my feel for the club, wasn’t the same- I still look out for the results, was struggling with a liver issue that meant I needed a transplant - I’m a huge football fan so ended up going to a few games and then totally fell in love - had always followed City’s results. Now I’m a season ticket holder!!
I like to follow Torino, Boca Juniors and Celtic too

For me it’s football.
Always liked Spurs and used to go up now and again for a W/E in London in the days of Gaza & Lineker. Always watch them when they’re on (like 10 minutes ago when they beat the jacks 2-0).
Played for the county at rugby when I was a kid but now can’t stand the sport.
Played a good level at competitive squash and played Park football all my life until I was 50.
Now I swim to keep fit, love watching football of all types and tend to travel a lot. Been to see Real Madrid at the Bernabeu and Barcelona at the Nou Camp recently.
City are obviously my first love as well as travelling the world scuba diving!

CCFC are number one team but I also like Hereford (spend lots of time up there) and Bristol Rovers. I've recently met a few fans from each club and gave the following reasons for liking them -
Hereford - reminisced with them about my time in Hereford magistates court (after Welsh Cup) and they were well chuffed that a ccfc fan would have them as his joint second team
Bristol Rovers - reminisced with them about our final game of the season at Eastville (loved going there) when Hemmerman did his leg in. Talked about whata mental day it was. oh and I told them how much I detested Bristol City and they were also well chuffed that a ccfc fan would have them as his joint second team

As most of you know, I follow Clydebank up here - my hometown club. I've lived in Aberdeen for 9 years now so I tend to go and watch them now and again with the wee fella when I'm not officiating. I also like to watch Lazio and Feyenoord and the odd visit to see Derry City in the summer months as I referee in a tournament over there every July.
Aside from that I like to watch the NHL and don't mind a bit of cricket either now and again.
