MY VIEW:WARNOCK TODAY MADE 5 CHANGES FROM THE PRESTON DEFEAT

My View/ Opinion

WARNOCK TODAY MADE 5 CHANGES FROM THE PRESTON DEFEAT.

Joe Bennett, Matthew Connolly, Brian Murphy, Rhys Healey and Junior Hoilett all returned for todays game.

But it was just not meant to be again today, even though Cardiff improved drastically from their three previous defeats, they today suffered another defeat making it 4 defeats in a row

ITS NOT LOOKING GOOD FOR CITY / BUT NOW IS THE TIME FOR EVERYONE TO PULL TOGETHER & KEEP BACKING THE BLUEBIRDS :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

First-half : Cardiff had the better of the first 30mins by far,but the last 15 mins its was all QPR including,Matt Smith hitting the post for QPR in the 39th min.

QPR finished stronger in the first-half.

Second-half : As the match went on,it even stevens and end to end football, with either side capable of winning the match.

Cardiff took the lead with a penalty, then collapsed.

The prob for Cardiff lately is they have forgot how to defend.

Cardiff:
Murphy, Peltier, Connolly, Bamba, Manga, Bennett, Paterson, Ralls, Hoilett, Healey, Zohore.

Subs:Etheridge, Halford, Mendez-Laing, Pilkington, Damour, Richards

For a change Cardiff started the brighter :thumbright:

There was some full blooded challenges going in from both teams. Most of them involving Joe Ralls, with Joe Bennett getting hurt and needing treatment after being brought down by a QPR player.

Cardiff were the better side for the first 30mins :bluebird: :bluebird:

Cardiff then had a couple of let offs as QPR squandered two different chances.

Matt Smith hits the post for QPR in the 39th min.

QPR finished stronger in the first-half.

H/T QPR 0 CARDIFF CITY 0

QPR were on top for the first 8 mins, then a Cardiff attack in the 53rd min saw Paterson brought down for Joe Ralls to make 0-1 :thumbright: :thumbright: from a penalty :bluebird:

59th min Damour came on for Lee Peltier.

62nd min a long throw from QPR and a Smith header 1-1

Mendez-Laing replaced the impressive Healey.

As the match went on,it even stevens and end to end football, with either side capable of winning the match.

Then poor defending by City and bang a deflection and 2-1 QPR

In the last 10 mins Hoilett had a Goal disallowed! Hoilett poked the ball home, but after long conversation with the linesman, the referee ruled it out.

City attacked non stop for the last five mins, to little to late.

Warnock picked the wrong team. Connolly not match fit and totally negative. All those defenders and we can't defend. I'm seriously beginning to wonder whether his carp football is ever going to be productive.

My worry is, We have lost to some poor sides and QPR were one of them.

It is now worrying 4 on the trot that's relegation football .. its sad our great start winning 5 on trot is wiped away I know we trust Warnock but he needs to do it quick as we could fall right down the league at this rate and be the joke of the championship I'm sure Warnock doesn't want to finish like that so he really needs his magic right now

On a positive note we are still well within shooting distance of 2nd. Most fans would still snap your hands off for this pre season! Plus we cannot keep this losing streak up, things will change! Chin up guys! :ayatollah: :bluebird: :thumbright:

Well at least we had a go today, Derby drew, Leeds drew hopefully Bristol will slip up, so when we get a few new players in we will still be in striking distance to catch up on 2nd place :bluescarf: :ayatollah: Just hope Morriston is back soon

Should have had 5 or 6 with good chances squandered ! At least most results mean not to much damage done yet!

They wasn't great annis but seriously we should have had 5/6 goals if we had converted some really good chances and a couple were easy! just no luck at moment but still in there so hope springs eternal :bluescarf:

Middlesbrough and villa are the teams you are forgetting. Expect them to hit form and take over us soon...

That means nothing after 4 defeats on the trot against teams that are not exactly setting the world alight themselves.

Said this a while ago but our strikers are letting us down big time.

Still very tight, hoping for a draw in the evening game or a Bristol loss.
We have 10 days to get a couple of new faces in and some of our injured players back.
Also it's still all too play for, and we still have all the teams around us to play .
It's going to be some second half of the season.

Appreciate what your'e saying.
BUT we were halfway through the season and were 2nd!
Yes we would have taken that at start of season but the position we were in we had a real chance to kick on.
We will struggle at this rate to stay in the playoffs.
Sorry but i'm not feeling confident we can at the moment.

No point in crying about as much as im gutted.
Never get it all your own way in this league.
No dought the rot has set it now.
Over to the manager to sort it out and i think he will.
A weird position to be in isnt it hopefully we get some players back and a few new coming in then we can kick on again.

Fingers crossed.

For once Warnock must take full responsibility it's time he took a reality check on himself with his stupid team selections just not good enough.

Trouble was chances didn't come to ken and some of decision making was suspect so combination of that meant no goals from outfield! Also defending very poor golden rule from long throw you stand in front of target we failed do that, and manga let player get behind him for 2nd and slow as carthorse tracking him! May been deflected off bamba as he closed player down. :old:

Cardiff remain fourth despite now having lost four successive Championship games - the worst run for manager Neil Warnock for nine years as he returned to his former club.

Rangers climb a place to 17th with their second win in 11 games and are now six points clear of the bottom three.

Gary, as a City fan it is now worrying but I have faith in the manager to sort it out :thumbright:

Sadly, the drinks will be on Mr Fernandes this evening! :(

Terrible run, playing awful, everything going against us, injuries caught up with us and confidence low. But wild overreaction as per usual. Half a season ahead, transfer window open, players to come back and only two points off second. Take a reality check by having a look at our position 12 months ago.

The modern day fan is awful, not in the real world. Judge us after first five games we were champions. Judge after last four we are relegation.

Support your team they need us. I personally love it when the chips are down. It will change.

Zohore has been useless since he came back but he's clearly not fit.

Was a bit surprised to see Peltier playing in central midfield :o

He's ok as a defender but was lost in midfield - had no idea who he was supposed to be marking and provided no attacking threat at all as, like Kevin McNaughton, he might as well never go over the halfway line as his contribution going forward is less than zero.
