There are many Cardiff fans who would plump for Bruno Manga and Sol Bamba as their first-choice centre-back pairing.

But sometimes you become a better player out of the side than in it and there are certainly a few reviewing their opinions of Sean Morrison.

Whilst the skipper has been absent injured, Cardiff's defence has creaked too often and shipped too many unnecessary goals.

Bamba and Manga are seen by many as better players than Morrison, certainly more suited to the Premier League, but perhaps his leadership skills and knack of defending in the right place at the right time is under-estimated.

Warnock has always made Morrison one of the first picks in his side and maybe we are beginning to see why.

Cardiff need a clean sheet at QPR. Manga and Bamba hold the key to that.

Agree with this, for me Manga is our best centre back individually but our best pairing is Bamba and Morrison.

I’ve always wanted Bamba and Manga but seeing us without Morrison shows how much we miss him.

Morrisons discipline and situational awareness allows Bamba/Manga to express themselves. Most underrated player to grace the CCS pitch for many years in my opinion.

Manga is a liabilty at the back. He is not good in the air, he can’t handle big physical forwards and his distribution is dire. He has no idea what to do with the ball when in possession and the more time he has the worse his passing becomes. His main strength is chasing back or on a forward that has got behind the defence and winning the ball but his job Is to stop them getting behind us in the first place.

If we come get decent money for him we should sell him.

I've had arguments with people at the games about Morrison.
People calling him a joke and saying that he contributes nothing.
I would like to speak with these people again....
