The owner of the catering company for the CCS (Compass),died yesterday in the Australian sea plane crash.

Tragic news, losing a family like that. Two sons, a fiancée and her young daughter also dying.
He wasn't the owner of Compass, but was a senior employee.

He was Chief Executive and effectively 'the boss' but as you rightly say, an employee rather than the 'owner' some media are portraying him as. RIP all involved in that sad incident
