Forest looking for a new manager.

Mark Warburton only took charge at Forest in March this year

and its only been a few weeks since that fat ugly tw*t Burns was saying how lucky they were to have such a good manager and not Ken Dodd....
the saying is he who laughs last laughs longest..im sure Warnock has had a chuckle this morning, not at Warburton losing his job but at fatso looking a real tool and having to eat some words and rehash the views in his column.

Yeah a lot of disgruntled Forest fans around here I have spoken to and their caused is not help with Derby having a good run.

Personally I felt Forest had something to build on after we beat them at their place 2-0. Under Warburton they have adopted a passing game and when they managed to play it it was a pleasure to watch. Unfortunately they don't have enough good players to play that way. It was a work in progress thing but these days clubs are not willing to wait.

There was plenty touting Warburton for the Cardiff job before NW got it, talk about ducking a bullet. Fact is if you haven’t got players like Barca you ain’t going to play like them. Warburton talked a great game at Ibrox but teams rapidly sussed if you press high up the Park his teams bolloxed. His maxim is if plan A fails do plan A better.

Clubs dont give managers enough time.
He is a good manager who would have made forest contenders for a play off spot next year if he stayed.
They were quite good when we played them and could see they were adjusting to a new style and work ethic. That takes time. One transfer window and 25 games is not enough.
Forest might regret that decision.

They’ll regret this decision.

It reminds me of when birmingham got rid of Gary Rowett.
No reason behind it . He got them out of a hole last season and stayed up, They are solid in midtable which is expected for a new managers first season. A few wins on the bounce and they could challenge for that 6th place. Only 9/10 points off it with a decent side.

Mark Warburton only took charge at Forest in March

31 DECEMBER 2017

Mark Warburton has been sacked by Nottingham Forest, while sporting director Frank McParland has also departed the Championship club.

Warburton was dismissed on Sunday morning, less than 24 hours after the 1-0 home defeat to Sunderland which leaves Forest in 14th place in the table.

Forest have lost 14 league games - the joint second worst in the division - and owner Evangelos Marinakis has acted due to the club's woeful form ahead of the January transfer window.

Warburton was a popular appointment in March, shortly after his acrimonious departure from Rangers, yet recent results and performances have triggered deep concern within the Forest boardroom. The home defeat to Sunderland was their sixth in the last ten games and Warburton has followed key ally McParland out of the City Ground, after talks with the board.

McParland, who can count Liverpool, Watford and Burnley among his former employers, is understood to have left the club on Friday following disagreements over the club's direction. He had been responsible for Forest's recruitment in the summer, which has come under scrutiny after a number of poor signings.

Warburton has paid the price for a poor run of results

Strange decision... Needed much more time to build his team.

I watched two years of a Warburton team at Ibrox and the guy talks a wonderful game but is a complete fraud. He’s learned llechwyn all and repeats the same mistakes time after time. He’s a dud and has been found out at Forest.

He has taken them from relegation certs at the end of last season to a team sitting nicely in mid table with no real threat of relegation in less than 9 months and only 1 transfer window. That is not bad in a very tough league with teams spending millions more than you

Mate believe me the guy is a snake oil salesman, I watched his Rangers side struggle against partimers in the Scottish Leagues, I bought into his shite big time, pitch geography, relentless pressing game, we have trained well this week and all the other meaningless bollox he used to spout in press conferences. He doesn’t know how to change when things aren’t working and left Rangers third in a twohorse race. Thank F*£k he didn’t get the Cardiff job.

While I agree with much of what you say, there are bigger problems at Rangers than who the manager is. Nothing will improve vastly there until they weed out the frauds on the board, in my opinion.

Don’t believe everything Celtic supporters tell you, despite what they claim they’re not all international tax experts or corporate lawyers. I’m happy with what the board have contributed and cannot fault their efforts, Warburton was a gamble that failed . I suppose ultimately the board bears responsibility for employing the shyster but they've weighed millions of their own money and shifted the fat gravy veined b*stard that is Mike Ashley.

I like him as a manager Chris.
He done brilliantly at Brentford and I remember wishing we could play football like that whilst we had Slade at the time.
Always try’s to play the right way but he needed more time at Forest to adapt his expansive game.

I wonder what bitter Kenny 'Rene' Burns has to say about it?

Maybe he should put his kit back on and throw his hat in as the new manager. He'd probably look great in it too.

As you know, I have as much time for Celtic as I do Rangers but we need strong sides in the country. Rangers have been a shambles since David Murray sold up and all the carry ons ensued after that. Many of the current board were in the background of Murray's days and were a part of what was going on and allowed it to happen. Celtic were the same shambles before McCann came in. Half of the country has been a shambles the rest of the time anyway!

Like I said I’m happy with the board, I hope they can attract more investment, Dave King lost 20m last time he was involved,
he’s not in it for profit. I’ve watched Scottish Football hate itself to death in the feeding frenzy to kill off Rangers, all the talk of sporting integrity and financial doping particularly from Celtic , all while their own managers, coaches, directors and players were using various discredited film schemes to avoid tax. Anyway this is not the board to discuss this, so back to the point I don’t rate Warburton as a manager.
