Delight

Watching the Bristol City v Wolves game and what a delight it is to see. No head tennis and no hoof ball; football as it should be played. I just hopes Neil Warnock and his coaching staff are watching

Put either manager in at city with 1.5m to spend at start season instead of multi million's they've had would we be where we are with them? Also for all the pretty football there is not a terrific amount of goalmouth incidents in fact both goals results of deflections .

Tell me how much head tennis or hoof ball have you seen in the game ?....that was all the point I was making

One other point to make on your response to my posting,it really doesn't come down to money,at the end of the day it comes down to the managers philosophy on how the game should be played, after all a lot of the lower division teams are capable of playing better football than us

I'm sure all professional players are good enough to pass a football to a team mate regardless of cost?
Ive seen welsh league games with better football being played than what i have witnessed the last few games.
I believe Warnock will turn it around though..

I was actually surprised how much they spent. The only major sale they did make was an unfit and overweight not quite a midfielder not quite a striker who can’t play 90 minutes and who probably wouldn’t fit in their pressing, vibrant style. Wonder which mugs paid them 1.5 million plus for him?

None but then didn't find it exciting either so keeping ball on ground doesn't always make for exciting game ! And last night at city was a bit barmy with both teams not just city playing head tennis in middle of pitch.
Ps not particularly interested what type game other teams play because it's got sfa to do with ccfc

Well will agree about the philosophy bit but then every one knows NW's, but coming back to money yes don't need it to play good football but there are lots teams playing proper football in championship but where are they compared to city? Even bristol who play great football are only ahead of us on goal difference upto today

So both philosophies work just depends on who's ends up more successful at end season that counts, will you be complaining about way we played and got promoted if that happened?

Do you honestly believe that we will get promotion playing like we did against Preston because if you do I would suggest your knowledge of football is not as extensive as you may think

No definitely won't get promoted If play like that every week! but then we haven't played that badly all season? Tell me how have we managed to be where we are if we've been playing crap football? Agree its not as good to watch like last nights game but it is what it is until NW goes we have to go with it, and if we do get promoted i come back to my point would you care how it was achieved? I'm sure 99.9% of fans won't care.

a lot of the lower divison clubs..?
yep..because the penny hasnt dropped yet that to play that type of football to any great effect you have to have good players ..ive seen quite a few totally crap teams look amazing in their own penalty area this season then end up with nil poi.

why do people compare us with other clubs do it with a lot of things? we are ccfc not wolves not plymouth simply ccfc , yes had couple bad games but is that surprising with the injuries to key players? if all teams played tip tap footy the league will be boring as hell! yes NW as a certain style but 7 promotions is testemony that it does work and end of day thats what its all about promotion! we are 1point off 2nd, simple question is how have we managed that certainly not playing crap footy for 20 odd games thats for sure
