Swansea will stay up.

Sat Dec 30, 2017 4:52 pm

Mark my words after today's win they will now go on a run and will be safe before the last month of the season.

West Brom, Newcastle and Stoke are my tips to go down right now

Rivalry aside they were poor today and Watford should have beaten them by 2 or 3 goals. Only got into the game last 10 minutes when Watford seemed to switch off.

That's what I mean they were rubbish today and still won. This will be the turning point of their season.

Nah they are still in the relegation zone, still with a shit squad and a shit manager, one lucky win means feck all !!!

I would rate all three above squads and Managers ahead of the white sox

With 5 out the next 6 against Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool, Leicester and Burnley. The only side they are playing around them is Newcastle so that would have to be some kind of run.

They will survive if the beat the sides around them and then pick up the odd point against sides like above.

They need to win at least 7 games of the remaining seventeen with a couple of draws - if they did that then they deserve to stay up . That’s a close on 50% win rate when they currently running at around 19%.

Nothings changed they were still very poor Watford gave game away plus that was Watfords 4th defeat in 5 games ! swans won't play that poor against other teams and get away with it.

I saw the game and trust me, Watford (or more importantly their manager) GAVE IT AWAY!

However, three points is three points and it takes them closer to a point of safety but they won't be playing a side as benevolent as Watford every week and their next five games (less the FA Cup) are versus Tottenham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Arsenal and Leicester...all of whom have as much to play for as Swansea ;)

It'll be tight at the end but this is a Swansea team that simply aren't to the standard of the side that pulled themselves up from the abyss last season! :ayatollah:

Here's why Carvahal was really chosen as Swansea Head coach...he's related to Huw! ;) :laughing6:

On this strange and mournful day.
But the Swans and championship reunion,
Is only a season away.

The same as last season. Become the usual on here, with us and Swansea. One win and all problems are solved, one defeat and relegation is on the horizon. Two or three wins for any of the bottom sides in the PPL virtually propels them to mid table or above. A long way to go yet, they did it last season so may do it again. I hope not.

the title of the thread is....Swansea staying up....its followed by a number of posts with posters giving opinions and reasons for those opinions both ways on what their fate will be.
dont see any gloating on here..
called a debate. nothing embarrassing about it.

People say get couple wins and go up table? But let's not forget that can only happen if the teams above them lose at same time! And the more teams above them less chance of it happening over several weeks. :old:
