My heart is saying 1st but my head says Playoffs!

I got a feeling we are still going to look dodgy at back when defending corners and set pieces!

I thought we would get top 6 before the signings and I get the feeling we can be expecting a few more players in.

Im going to say 4th

With the signings rumoured i think 2nd or 3rd.

After today`s good news Carl, my confidence is growing we will finish 5th and then defeat Millwall with a last minute disputed penalty in the play off final at Wembley.

Both sets of supporters will then leave the ground together congratulating each other one on how well the match was played, and wishing each other all the best for the future.

Top 5 and we will beat The jacks at their place too!!

With current squad in place I think 6th.. its a very competitive league this year but I think the top end will be even more so.

We are a decent CM and Jay Cover away from greatness though imo.. Olofinjana would be ideal but imo unlikely given our constraints. Keogh again seems to have died out as the day has drawn on and again would have been a quality addition. Its one thing added to the squad with your heatons and drinkwaters.. its the quality additions like your koumas' that ultimately win you the games.

I said a couple of weeks ago we will make the play-offs and get promoted.

id be delighted with a top 2 finish, however if someone offered me the play off's now id take it!!!

I'll be a lot more optimistic if a quality centre half is added to some of the rumoured signings, especially an imposing midfielder such as Olinfijana it must be hoped. Back up to Bothroyd, as indeed it should have been last season, must also be a priority. With the quality of the Championship deteoriating ever further (which makes Jones failure given such investment last season all the more acute for me), this season's perceived more equal spread so to speak could either be positive or negative; get it right and it wouldn't be too difficult to see a side such as us win the league with relative ease, get it wrong and lower mid-table could even more easily be our fate. It is hard to judge until squads are finalised, but you would have to fancy top 6 at least, but I still can't help but have nightmares about our defending and centre halves especially. I'll go with 4th as it stands.

At least 6th. Our last games of the season been terrible for 2 years, can see that happening this year too, so no automatic promotion I think

I can only go for automatic!!! couldnt go through those playoffs again!!!

Until we see how the new players perform it's pure guesswork. I doubt one could make a reasonable judgement before the end of September and early season injuries. However early activity suggests a top half of the table finish.
