Players all seem to take weeks or months to recover from innocuous injuries, we have players who seem to have no dietary plan, eg Tomlin and players that get injured not playing football, Pilkington injured on a bus and then Bennett and Bryson picking up injuries when there isn’t a game. Got to question our back room staff big time, sports nutrition and rehab is big business these days but seems to have bypassed the CCS.

If a player is unfit due to eating to much and being overweight then dont sign them full stop. If earning thousands a week doesnt motivate them to eat healthy then feck all a manager can say will. We all work with them people that can hardly walk, sweat like feck and breath heavily and still smash pies into their fat faces for first break in work.
