i thought there was loads of effort there tonight allthough the performance was not.
some people just like repeating cliches...and lost the changing room / players not playing for a manager are popular ones.

As an athlete I try to race about once a fortnight otherwise I go “stale”. Training is like a bank account you train and put money in and you race to draw it out. With all of the injuries, players are constantly drawing on their bank accounts and are going stale. It wears you out mentally as well as physicaly when you put in an effort but do not get the result you want.
I think we have not been found out we are just a bit stale at the moment. A few fresh faces will give our team a moral boost and help them get a bit of a breather. The squad is too thin and it is unrealistic to expect them to keep winning week in and week out.
Warnock may be a bit of a victim of his own success here as he may have squeezed everything out of them and the Christmas period has caused us to hit the wall a bit. I am sure he has been in this situation before many a time and he is not making excuses for it. I am encouraged by this as it is good to know he is not burying his head in the sand as many lesser managers would.
We will scrap our way out of this! As we sit here bemoaning our last three results Warnock is working hard to get us out of this funk that we are in and nobody is better qualified to do that than him at this level!![]()
