" Some fans pissing me off! "

Okay, I understand we've lost 3 on a trot and we've put the foot off the gas a bit. But really, is it this bad? People saying warnock lost the plot? We are joint second, this is a NORMAL run which every club goes through whether they finish top or bottom, we've run out of gas a bit, injuries haven't helped that as our squad has been pushed to the limit but done ever so well to cope with these injuries but these festive fixtures has done us too good. One or two new faces a dominant cm got to
Be the main target, and we will Be fine, just need to fresh it up again. A scrappy win Monday and we will Be on our way again, it's a marathon not a sprint, part of the rollercoaster of being a city fan, it would be boring winning every week, we do it the hard way, back the team and we will see whatever we deserve come the end of the season. Happy new year, bluebirds, rant over

In summarry..
Don't panic just yet!!

I agree with you that it's certainly not the end of the world and that Warnock has done a fantastic job full stop.

What's an issue is that the way we're playing football at the moment is completely hopeless and uninspiring as much as it is ineffective and has been sliding this way even during our winning run. Players who we didn't know too much about at the start of the season we are now able to better judge and a lot are not up to scratch.

We can still finish second and definitely in the play offs but it really is time for a bit of a rethink. :bluescarf:

i thought there was loads of effort there tonight allthough the performance was not.
some people just like repeating cliches...and lost the changing room / players not playing for a manager are popular ones.

It shows how little they really know; it's results or bust! :(

I agree mate, it’s disappointing as we’ve been doing so well, but this happens in the Championship, we’ve basically had the whole spine injured except Ralls.

They are drifting back and we will kick on !!!

3 tough games in 6 days, get the QPR game out of the way, hopefully we get at least a point.
Then we have nearly a fortnight (ignore the FA cup) to get some players in and others fit, then let's see where we are.
Don't panic just yet, a lot more twists and turns, and a lot of teams will have dips in form too. It's a long hard season and thats what makes the championship so good.

There is a lot more to this than people understand!

As an athlete I try to race about once a fortnight otherwise I go “stale”. Training is like a bank account you train and put money in and you race to draw it out. With all of the injuries, players are constantly drawing on their bank accounts and are going stale. It wears you out mentally as well as physicaly when you put in an effort but do not get the result you want.

I think we have not been found out we are just a bit stale at the moment. A few fresh faces will give our team a moral boost and help them get a bit of a breather. The squad is too thin and it is unrealistic to expect them to keep winning week in and week out.

Warnock may be a bit of a victim of his own success here as he may have squeezed everything out of them and the Christmas period has caused us to hit the wall a bit. I am sure he has been in this situation before many a time and he is not making excuses for it. I am encouraged by this as it is good to know he is not burying his head in the sand as many lesser managers would.

We will scrap our way out of this! As we sit here bemoaning our last three results Warnock is working hard to get us out of this funk that we are in and nobody is better qualified to do that than him at this level! :ayatollah: :bluebird:
