Neil Warnock: "We can't feel sorry for ourselves"

Fri Dec 29, 2017 10:24 pm

NEIL WARNOCK:

'We can't feel sorry for ourselves"

"I can’t fault the effort, but I’m disappointed not to come out with the result. We lacked quality in certain areas, we’re short in midfield but we’ve only got the two lads fit. Rallsy and Loic tried hard."

"It was a sloppy goal, I think the goalkeeper should have had it. It’s down to me now though, I’ve got to stop the rot and not feel sorry for ourselves."

"We lost Bryson and Bennett yesterday, we’ve been absolutely battered. We’ve got to get a bit of luck with injuries. We could do without Monday, but we’ve got to get over it."

NEIL WARNOCK:

Warnock puts onus on himself

"They’ve hit a brick wall, some of them. We’ve lost player after player and this has been a tough week for us."

"But hey there are worse things in life. I always enjoy going back to QPR so I’ll enjoy that and I’ve got to do something in the next couple of days to give them a lift.”

Should still have had enough to beat Preston, poor tonight. Getting bored with Warnock now.

The same shite being served up and I actually love Warnock but something has to give, we had a decent side out tonight and some of these players looked dejected and like they hadn't played with each other before

Its a hard three games to take disappointed.
We'll be back im sure i have faith this is a good side thats had the stuffing taken out of them but we'll be back.
Be patient its not easy but i truly believe we'll bounce back .
I trust in Warnock and the team.
Neil Warnocks done it all before and at some point the injuries will come good and other teams will go through it so im staying positive . :bluescarf:

Mate you’ve got no clue!!

How you want to blame Etheridge for the goal is beyond me of any player he’s been one of the most consistent- Camp isn’t playing for a reason

The reason is
He’s not good enough over out over two keepers

That's one thing in football about coming back from loss of form you turn around and the gap extends them it's too late your seasons over teams that get's promoted have a blip nothing more than that.

Absolutely correct...we have hit a brick wall..shocking performances in last 3 games

Scrap a draw at QPR and let's move on

Time to regroup and start again...we are a lot, lot better than we showed tonight...

After QPR it's the FA Cup, so there is a chance to re-group, and have a rest. But how are so many of them injured? What happened to Bryson and Bennett yesterday?

Are you for real mate? This season we are having a go at the play offs! We've exceeded expectations all season so far despite losing 3 games on the bounce we are still in the top 3! I wud have been happy with a top 6 at the moment let alone top 3. What did people expect - we would just walk the league - deluded! I know people are hugely gutted and me included but please don't say your getting bored of Warnock after 3 poor games! Seriously! After all he's done so far. We've barely lost a game at home for a long time until now - even going back into last season - the players are clearly knackered - injured etc! In all honesty we've been hit badly with injuries. Zohore, Mendez Laing can hardly walk! They all looked knackered. A couple of losses and it's knocked the confidence out of us. That's all! People say we had a good squad out there - this squad under another manager who do absolutely nothing - it's down to Warnock that we've got the best out of players. Now is a time when the players really need us - they need our support - let's pull together - booing at them is going to make it worse! And that's another thing booing after 3 losses when we are 3rd what a joke. People don't know how good we've got it - alright your bored of Warnock (I don't know how) let's get rid of him and have OLE GUNNAR then!

So what's going on when it seems virtually EVERY member of the squad has some kind of injury?

I think the boos were aimed at the ref to be honest but agree with everything else

Couldn't agree more, reading some of the posts people like spoiled brats. You can't win in football all the time just like life. Dig in and come through. In a fantastic position just need to get out of the rut

Bournemouth found themselves 15th after the 2nd one of those....borrowed a keeper then won the title...

he is an ok keeper but lets not make out he is Gordon Banks either eh..

I've followed Lee Camp all of his injured career (so not before we signed him) serious question though, please don't flame me for this one.

Is he the ederson or butland of the championship?

no..he is the Greg Halford of goalkeepers ..journeyman who on his day is pretty good..but on not such a good day would have the goalkeeper knockers feeling suicidal...
