Tomlin yes or no

Tonight some of the team looked tired and jaded sfter playing a lot of football. We are a hard working team and whether they play well or badly they try their best..
But Tomlin was not up to speed and just didnt look fit. Played in fits and starts. Has skill but unbalances the midfield.

The others are too busy doing the donkey work for him and cannot therefore cannot be creative and effective going forward.
However cannot blame Tomlin for the fact that on numerous occasions City lumped a high balls to a short rotund figure (Tomlin) and the Preston defence headed it clear.
Rhys Healey looked a far better bet as a number 10. At least he looked keen hungry and fit. Well done him after a horrendous injury!
To sum up....
Disappointing last few weeks but no need to panick. Warnock has been excellent on the whole - but the man who never made any mistakes has not been born. We needed a creative player - but not an unfit one. Tomlin looks like he can only be an impact sub for 20 mins. What do you think? I think that we still need a creative midfielder. (Also I am not sure about Patersons purchase as he is also a bit slow and gives away to many needless free kicks. But he may still improve with time and prove me wrong).

Anyway January is now near and so over to you Neil. Keep the faith :bluebird:
