Joe Ralls: “We want that winning feeling again!”

Cardiff City FC

Thursday 28th December 2017

Cardiff City midfielder Joe Ralls spoke with the assembled press and media at the Vale Resort on Thursday morning.

It has been a tough week so far for the Bluebirds – but the team has two big opportunities to gain points in the coming days.

“We’ve spoken as a group and we’re looking to address our performances,” Joe began. There is a huge desire in the squad to do that.

“We’ve got two big games coming up now (Preston North End & QPR) and hopefully we can gain some points from them and get ourselves into an even better position.

“We’ve been on an amazing run at home. That may have ended against Fulham but we want to do that again.

“As we all know, there are no easy games in this league. There are a lot of strong squads in this division – but I think we’re one of them.”

City’s first defeat of the 2017/18 season came against Preston in September – and Joe spoke about that match, Friday's opponents and the squad intentions.

“We didn’t turn up on the night. It was our worst performance of the season. We definitely owe a better performance than that.

“It’s going to be another difficult game. Preston are always a tough side. We’re looking to give the fans an improved performance. We’ve got to go out there, show a lot of desire, and get the three points.

“We want that winning feeling again.”

Preston is a huge game tbh - we cant afford to lose 3 in a row .

Teams now catching us up with momentum

We definitely don’t want to be caught in a rut which can often happen!
A Must home win game for me.

Paul, possibly our 'game of the season' to date and I'm confident the team will be up for it! :ayatollah:

This time of the year is always going to be a big test for the teams with less budgets and smaller squads. Let's hope it's a minor blip. Either way we need 2/3 players in jan if we want automatic.

Joe has certainly played very well this season and lets hope he keeps it up

Itd a case of actions speak louder than words go get the three points.
We've done brilliant up to now low budget squad good team good manager fans onboard again.
It doesn't matter if we are doing better than we all thought fact is we bounce back we could do it the easy way go up automatically the playoffs as we all no is anybody's.
We are up there so as Joe says lets go get three points and stay in the mix.

City to bounce back 2-0

Don't want to lose 3 on the bounce and let a team do the double on us either
