' Racists Chants on Boxing Day '

Club Statement | Millwall v Wolves

In the past 24 hours, Wolves have been made aware by the club’s supporters of the alleged racist chants/comments from sections of the crowd during the Sky Bet Championship fixture against Millwall on Tuesday, 26th December.

As a club, we are fiercely committed to stamping out all types of discrimination within the game and are presently working in cooporation with both the FA and Millwall Football Club to investigate all allegations of racist abuse.

We would like to encourage anybody who has any further information to contact the club at their earliest possible convenience.

The club will not be making any further comment at this stage.

I’d like to take this opportunity to release a statement on behalf of Millwall Football Club. It has come to our attention that a few cry babies from the midlands have made allegations about our supporters. These allegations were made following the shock horror that the self proclaimed Manchester City of the championship failed to beat the kick and run merchants that we are.
Instead of taking it like men they’ve decided to make up stories about us.

Just remember one thing. We are family club of the year for a reason. You will not slander our good name.

This is not just a couple of fans who witnessed this but a considerable amount.
Fair play to Millwall as a club they have launched an immediate investigation as have the police.

Well said that Millwall fan. The Wolves fans are the most deluded self proclaiming fans I have ever seen or head. You only have to read their forum to see that they really think they are as good as promoted and that they will challenge the top 4 in the PL next season.
