Heard it myself, but feel its very unlikely. Leeds not really flushed with that amount of cash. Heard they were after someone from Arsenal, Simpson ??? I think.

Massive step down for him, think they will finish mid table at best. Plus can't see them paying up as they replaced Beckford with Paynter (who is completely unproven at this level) who was a free transfer.

Yes they're after Simpson along with Palace and Hull, but unfortunately Hull have a transfer embargo Tut Tut
