What does Bryson offer?

Tue Dec 26, 2017 9:27 pm

Honestly what does he offer? All he seems to do is run around like a headless Chicken, arriving 3 seconds to late, by that time they have passed the ball either around him or passed him which then leaves space in behind. Thought he played well when we played against Leeds, but since then he's been very disappointing imo, he doesn't create, he doesn't tackle, he doesn't dictate the tempo of games, all he does is run around aimlessly.

I think you've summed him up perfectly.

Just a waste of energy. Doesn't tackle, carry the ball or make any telling passes. Runs around in circles most of the time.

He works hard and closes players down applying pressure for them to pass quicker or makes mistakes. He's not that bad but feel we do miss something in midfield at the moment.

He was poor yesterday, Fulham have very good ball players in the middle of the park, their movement and composure dragged our midfield 3 all over the shop. But Bryson has been effective in other games, when the 3 in the middle work in tandem and close together then that’s when he’s at his best, Forest away for example he was my man of the match that day, he didn’t give them a minutes peace forcing them to make mistake after mistake and keeping it nice and tidy when got on the ball. He’s also got nice technique his goal away at boro showed that.

Definitely missing some leaders out there with no Morrison and Gunnars.

I think he's very good in a tight away performance - against Forest he was excellent, along with Damour. But in a performance where we should be looking at dominating more in midfield, especially at home, he's not very effective. Same goes with the Barnsley game, where he offered nothing. Priority in January has got to be getting in a player who can control the ball and turn defence into attack.

He's Don Cowie in disguise - loads of running for little effect.

I dont rate him at all. It seems clear now why derby dont want him in their side for promotion because he offers very little
