Etickiting looks pretty good

Canton virtually sold out.

Centre Ninian too, extra block opened near the away end.

Corners half sold.

Grandstand - more full than usual.

Hard to tell with Family Stand as they only seem to put a small number of tickets on sale at a time.

Looked like it had sold reasonably well as areas not normally on sale have been opened up

I'd be surprised if it was under 20k, even allotfor a relatively small away following

Not usually one to go on about attendances but the rebrand and ole/slade era has created a lasting apathy that will take more than one season to shake. I said when we went back blue that it will take 3/4 years to get to the levels we could be achieving.

I think if we got promoted to the prem our attendances would be poor. Alot of serious damage has been done by tan to the fan base but to be fair to him and the club they are doing things right now but it doesn't heal over night.

Careful now Nubbsy you are agreeing with me and will cause one or two to have a go.

Only thing I will disagree with you here is that it will take more than 3/4 years but a generation to replace what we lost. You can add into that a generation of success as well.

Jack, I have always maintained it's the Rebrand and the Authoritues, plus the way our club treated our fans for four years :bluescarf:

No Ole was a complete waste of time, but he never lost us fans as managers come and go.

I still think we will get 30k if we reach prem. A lot who are "not coming" will make an appearance then and probably last game or 2 this season if we are still near top.

Great people they are, no support or loyalty to Cardiff City, just people for glory and to watch the opposition.

They've had 5 months to turn up and can still now turn up :bluebird: :bluebird:

Its definitely played a major part in the apathy and dissolution amongst our fans.

We were spoilt for quite a few years cup finals, play offs etc. Then all that momentum torn to bits by the rebrand. Pro red or pro blue you cannot argue that it seperated our fan base and caused serious damage.

Jack, 100% a major factor, those who deny it are not being honest about it.

Our fan base was divided beyond for 3-4 years and many of the Diehard Blue fans will never forget or forgive and many have moved on to other things in life.
