Could these two players help us to kick on??

Mon Dec 25, 2017 8:05 pm

Cardiff City supporters would have expected an improved campaign under the management of Neil Warnock, but even the most optimistic of Bluebirds fans wouldn’t have predicted the promotion push in the Sky Bet Championship this season.

Just over 12 months ago Cardiff were facing the possibility of a relegation battle in the Championship, but now, under Warnock, they are challenging for a Premier League return in 2018.

Warnock deserves plenty of plaudits, but so do his playing squad, who have been magnificent over the course of the season, putting the Bluebirds in an excellent position to push on an achieve automatic promotion.

Of course, Warnock will want to strengthen during the January transfer window, as he looks to bolster his squad ahead of one final push for the Premier League.

With that in mind, we take a look at TWO players Cardiff need to sign ASAP when the transfer window opens in early 2018…

Colback without doubt.

Marriott keeps reminding me of Eion Doyle. Personally I thought Doyle was on his way to making it then before we knew it he was gone.

Agree colback still at 28 has plenty to offer wages might be the problem possibly a loan, and with Marriott it's a risk like Doyle was a risk, but clucas came from
The same team I think and he went on to do well, I was disappointed with Doyle he should of done more.
