My View:

WE CAN'T HANDLE BRAWLERS : We have lost 4 times this season to Preston, Bristol City , Birmingham and Bolton.

What is the common dinominator?

Everyone of those bullied us and beat us up.

Very simply we can not handle a fight !!

This is not the 1st time I say it and it is a point that has really worried me . If we do not gain promotion this will definately be one of the key reasons. (the other being that we desparately need a midfield general and probably a proven striker -

Where is our leader on the pitch, our fighter, never say die player?

I wrote about this back in August and still strongly believe that.

Many on here did not agree then. Rem its all about different Opinions :bluebird: :bluebird:

Out leader never say die player on the pitch is bamba doubt if we will find a bigger heart than that

Have to agree , I said some time ago we need a midfielder that’ll boss us matches

Good news is January is here and I trust Warnock to bring in two players we need .

No point bringing in 6 , we’ve been lucky with results recently given the team but with new signing then players returning we’ll be in playoffs come end of season

Simple answer we don’t create enough chances hence we don’t score enough goals

5/2 Fulham to beat us on Boxing day

We always seem to struggle against them at home

Looks a good bet :occasion5: :occasion5:

We were always going to struggle to create yesterday with only 2 in midfield hence no shots on target 50 years experience in the game or not that was always going to happen

We have the ultimate leader in what you describe. His name is sol.bamba.

I dont think its about leadership. Its simply the style of play we struggle to beat, we have lost just 4 games and will likely lose another 4 at least....

The championship is the hardest league in the world...i love it

Totally disagree...yesterday was just a game too far given our ridiculous injury problems

Yesterday we competed but just couldn't create any decent chances

With everyone fit no team will "bully" us Bamba, Pelts, Morrison, Gunner, Zahore etc are hardly shrinking violets on a football pitch

Yesterday was a blip, all teams have them in the Championship and we have less blips than other teams so we will be ok

it's shocking teamd that are more physical than us we can't handle. some of warnocks team selections baffle me.we always seem to struggle against lower opposition. but then raise our game well we play better teams. Tuesday is now a big game need to put a string of wins together.

Exactly this, 90% of the teams we have played so far have complained that we have bullied and kicked them of the park. I really don't think City are struggling physically and can more than hold their own

Disagree.

We pinned Bolton back in their half for 80%of the game. Our problem is that when we don't look like scoring we then invite the opposition onto us. We never got close at Preston, at Brum we were timid up and front and yesterday not one shot on target. At Trashton Gate we really let ourselves down thanks to the striker.

Our strike force needs to up their games.

Stephen Heard:

Was there against Preston and they just outplayed us dnt think we got bullied looked tired and again a Tuesday night poor mid week performance

Birmingham wanted it more and again on sky some tried to hard as its normal wen we are on sky Agree we got bullied

Bristol we looked comfortable and if not for sending off i think we go on and win that game even with 10 we nearly got a point

Bolton wasn't there so dnt know bt wen you play a side down at bottom always gonna be a battle same as Birmingham....

All in all start of season with our injuries we've had to deal with 2nd at Christmas id of bitten ya hand off.... Players coming bk from injuries be like new signings

You're right...that's why we're only SECOND in the Championship table! ;)

Sack the manager and bringing someone who knows what they're doing!

We’ve only lost 4 games in the first half of the season, maybe down to being bullied, outplayed or just not up to it on day.I’ll take that and would take it for the 2nd half of the season.
Injuries aren’t helping but this is the championship and as we know these defeats do happen.Lets hope Boxing Day is bounce back day.

I am a big fan of Warnock however IMO he should have put a team out to hammer a Bolton Team very low on confidence, but he did the usual just try to contain them and nick a goal. Great when it works but not so good when it doesn't work.
However we now need to back on a decent run and and keep the pressure on Wolves and the teams just below us :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

We all have degrees of hindsight.
NW is doing a terrific job with an injury list as long as your arm.
A top six finish is on, which is all we can expect with our budget.
The biggest loss for the last few games has been our captain.
Hopefully back soon as he has been sorely missed for the last 2 away games.

Sorry replied without reading the other threads, but you're spot on with have had our spine ripped out through injury, but we will soon have them drifting back, and we will add some top players in January

Bolton got just 2 points from their 1st ELEVEN games..
and 14 points of their last ELEVEN prior to yesterday..

low on confidence or slowly but surely improving..not a great side but maybe not as bad as you might think

Neil Warnock's own admission, Cardiff won't face as many teams as physical as Bolton Wanderers this season.
