' BORO FANS GET EARLY XMAS PRESENT '

Middlesbrough last night confirmed they had parted company with manager Garry Monk despite their win at Sheffield Wednesday, with the club now actively seeking a replacement over the coming days.
Monk leaves the North East club lying in 9th place in the Championship table despite a summer of huge spending, and Boro Chairman Steve Gibson will no doubt be keen to find a replacement as quick as possible.
It’s pretty safe to say that Monk’s time in charge at the Riverside has not been the most positive, and many Boro fans were wanting this day to come a few weeks ago.
With the club taking to Twitter to announce the sacking of Monk, there was always bound to be a massive reaction to the news, and plenty of Boro fans took the time out to respond to the statement and make their feelings clear on the matter.
It’s safe to say the decision has gone down quite well on Teeside, and here’s a look at just exactly how Boro fans are reacting to the news of their managerial change…

i've always thought it to be very poor taste to celebrate and jeer a manager who has lost his job. shows a lack of class.

He's a jack tho, they are exempt from the rule. You can kick them when they are in the gutter and not feel guilty. Similar to a rat.
