Likewise - no doubt we will have to buy them too at around £100.00 a throw no matter how long is left on the current one

Great the sooner we leave the better

Re: Another rebrand to fight against

Actually the rebranding was adopting the burgundy colour dictated to us by the EU. We have simply reverted to the traditional navy blue colour of our passports used since 1921.

Actually prefer the blue on them.

On the subject of the EU, I voted remain but accept that we’re leaving. It shouldn’t be reversed and nobody should try and reverse it or get a second referendum - leave won, and we live in a democracy.

You won’t get anywhere by moaning about it.

Now we have to make it as successful as possible :ayatollah:

Only 46% of the nation have a passport ... so the people that`ll be pleased about this the most are the people who like to get out of the UK the most ..... also i read earlier there is no guarantee that these new UK passports will be made in the UK either. It really is a joke.

Black one? On Sky tv (I think it was) they called the colour of the original passport navy / navy blue. I guess it's a bit like the Tottenham / Preston shorts. Officially they are navy but some call them black.

Much like our rebrand it all depends on the results that follow Brexit.

If UK is thriving the 52% who voted for it will actually be 80% odd but if it goes wrong the 48% will be 80%. The difference between 52 or 48 and 80 will always say I was always in favour/against it.

We weren't dictated to change the colour we could've kept them as it were. I think it was about 9 years after joining the EU we eventually changed colours. Croatia still has blue passports if I recall.

It's just Leave/Remain/Brexit point scoring to make this a Brexit related issue. Personally couldn't care what colour mine is as it sits in a draw for 99% of the year
