Best Away Match : West Ham United (remember feeling immense pride for opening game of our 1st ever PL season)

Worst Away Match : Liverpool (realising the fans had forgotten the football and 'Malkygate' had taken over the season)

Best Away Stadium : The Emirates Stadium (a classy and ultra-modern stadium)

Worst Away Stadium : Selhurst Park (but ironically always one of my favourites to visit)

Best Home Match : Manchester City (and beating the best in or own backyard)

Worst Home Match : Sunderland (giving way two late goals, which started the big slide down the table)

I loved that night at Old Trafford Annis though it was just our luck that Van Persie came back and scored against us with virtually his first touch. I couldn't quite believe I was watching the Bluebirds in a league game there. I was with my then 10 year old son and we had a really nice time with a load of Man Utd fans in a nearby bar/restaurant before the match, many of whom were very complimentary about us.

Chris,

Sunderland home, it really started to go wrong behind the scenes and on the pitch.

Best home match - it's just got to be Man city! Years and years and no top flight football - first HomE match in the top flight against the champions. People were nervous we would get completely hammered - atmosphere was electric. Best day in the premier league for me!

Worst away match - Liverpool and that match away at Sunderland - I believe this match ' kicked us' whilst we were down and we could never recover! If we had won that match we may have had the confidence to get through perhaps! Cala got sent off!

Best away stadium - the Emirates.

Worst away stadium - Anfield! The match - we lost and I didn't care but I ended up missing most of it anyways! I can't even explain in full what went wrong that game because it's still traumatic but in short We got completely screwed over by Some Liverpool fans and the club. It's complex but I will never set foot back in that horrible club again!

Best Away Match : Fulham with Everton a close 2nd

Worst Away Match :Villa - Mackay playing without a centre forward against relegation rivals seemed to start the downward slide and lack of belief

Best Away Stadium : Man City

Worst Away Stadium : Old Trafford, facilities 20 years behind the times in the away end.

Best Home Match : Man City

Worst Home Match : Sunderland or Southampton

Palace was awful. Had an awful journey on an old coach with no heating and the windows all steamed up.
Terrible game with Cameron Jerome scoring against us and an awful performance by us.
Best part of the day was the fish and chips before the game.

Man City away was great and I'll never forget the victory at Fulham.

Sunderland at home was terrible and probably the start of our decline. The realisation for me that we'd more than likely go down was the capitulation at home to Hull.

Best Away Match : a split between two here/ West Ham, as stated before I couldn’t believe I was watching us walk out in a top flight fixture.

Southampton, I missed Fulham (1 of 4 I missed all season), to finally see us win away in the top flight andto get a goal against all the odds and stand strong like we did after it to get the three points.

Worst Away Match : Palace or Swansea hands down. We were awful on both occasions.

Best Away Stadium : Old Trafford, being there with 3000 city fans midweek and to ousting the Home fans and not disgrace ourselves that day, I was proud. One of the few times we played in Blue as well.

Worst Away Stadium : Selhirst Park/Anfield. Old stands, crap view. Horrible grounds.

Best Home Match : Man City Home.

Worst Home Match : Hull City & Palace. When I realised & accepted we were going down no matter what else happened

Hi all, great thread, agree with a lot of the comments. As my favourite away that season hasn’t featured yet I’m going out on a limb!
Best Away Match : West Bromwich Albion. Went 3-2 down 2 minutes into the added time. Threw everyone forward looking for the equaliser then West Brom broke and had 3 players onto our 1. Instead of finding a team mate, or even taking it into the corner to run the clock down, the West Brom player inexplicably passed to the one Cardiff player who was back. We went straight down the other end and Dahli scored with a scuffed shot off the post to make it 3-3 with the last kick of the game. Amazing scenes, most memorable for a West Brom fan who’d been really giving it some when they went 3-2 up going apoplectic at the end and having to be dragged back by his mates as he seemed to want to take on the whole away end! So funny!

Worst Away Match : The last two against Sunderland and Newcastle were embarrassing as has already been posted.

Best Away Stadium : Old Trafford. So good to see Cardiff City play a league game there as others have said.

Worst Away Stadium : Liverpool. Arrived late and weren’t allowed into the section where we had tickets. Forced right to the back where we couldn’t see the other end due to the overhang of the stand roof.

Best Home Match : Manchester City, though little did we know it was all downhill from there, aside that is from the odd moment of cheer, especially Kimbo’s late equaliser against Manchester United!

Worst Home Match : A toss up for me between the two games over Christmas. The capitulation against Southampton that saw Malky exit before throwing away the 2 goal lead against Sunderland. Not that anything different would have happened over the rest of the season but it was a particularly long and quiet journey home after that!

Hope we can do it all again next year, but with a far better outcome!

Onward and hopefully upwards!

Best Away Match : Fulham- Mutch goal spectacular

Worst Away Match :- Palace got hammered though the drinking in backpackers bar in kings cross was fun

Best Away Stadium :- Everton- Proper old fashioned ground

Worst Away Stadium :- Man U theatre of dreams my arse its a load of shit, middle of nowhere no pubs in sight, ground looks shit, Stewerts were wankers facilities poor. No idea how some have said it was best unless they are closet Man U fans

Best Home Match : Man City- I mean their is no competition here.

Worst Home Match : Hull- we lost 4-0 at home to Hull FFS

Re: " Our Premier Season? "

Best Away Match : Fulham away - Great goal by Mutch and a good performance by the team. Then I though we would be safe if we perform against such teams who we would be challenging for survival. honestly thought we would be mid table then.

Worst Away Match : Newcastle/Sunderland - I knew we were struggling going into those games but still felt we had something to pull it all off. We had less than nothing and the whole setup had given up. made the whole season worthless.

Best Away Stadium : Emirates - First time and perhaps last time I've seen cushion seats at a stadium.

Worst Away Stadium : Hawthorns - We were packed in like sardines.

Best Home Match : Man City - No competition there.

Worst Home Match : Hull City/C Palace - We really needed to get something from these games but we gave it all to them too easily. Looking back they were the 2 games that told us we should have never gone up.

That season I went to 11 always and about 10 homes.

Best away - Fulham, great win and also a great trip. The only other trips I enjoyed was Man City, Liverpool and Everton.

Best home - Man City as I'm sure everyone will agree. It weren't prefect though as we were in the ghastly red.

Best stadium - arsenal but it was a dead atmosphere. The best atmosphere I seen on my trips was at WBA.

Worst stadium - Palace. Certainly not a bad stadium but small for prem standards.

Worst defeats - were after that donkey OGS arrived. 0-4 to Hull was the one I witnessed.
