"Surely the best times watching Cardiff are"

My View/Opinion :thumbright:

Surely the most enjoyable times of watching Cardiff City or your team is when your going for promotion?

The exciting football, attacking, the adrenaline going, atmosphere and most of all Winning games :thumbright:

Supporting your club and the players and the fans celebrating together :ayatollah:

Once your in the Premier League, you might see the big clubs and their stars, but your own club, clubs like ours struggle to get a win and some of the hammering we took last time were hard to take in and it deflates you.
We were turning up just hoping we were not going to get hammered never mind lose

I spoke to some WBA fans recently and they also said the promotion side of it is far better than when you actually get there.
Of course it's amazing when you pull of a shock win, but you might have to wait 10 games for it to happen

Yes I am going by last time we were there, but I also talk to other clubs very similar to us and they all say the same.

We all want to compete up there with the best, but for the first few years your just looking to just survive.

My other main point is, this is why I can't understand why are crowds are so low when the actual real excitement is happening right now and has been for 5 months.
Our club is giving us everything we could only dream of this time last year.
This makes me even more convinced the people who buy tickets once your club is in the Premier League, really are only going there to watch the opposition.

Plus do you enjoy the promotion part more than when we actually are playing in the Premier League?

me and my dad said only the other day, the best years we had were going for promotion under Dave jones etc, being the nearly men for so long. Going up was an immense feeling, being there was a bit of a let down I didn't actually like the prem.

I'd be happy to go up great stuff and come straight back to down to try and go up again so on and so forth. Let's be honest the best we can ever wish for is mid table unless the countries of Jordan, Saudi, UAE or Dubai want to buy us and make us a world powerhouse of football

It’s the unknown we have a manager who prob won’t be with us if we get promoted an owner who’s investment days are over uncertainty at best

1.5 million for Tomlin.
700k for Bogle.
1 million for Ward.
400k for Patterson.

Who paid for that? Father Christmas?

If we go up Tan will want to keep us there. Thankfully we have a manager now who will spend it wisely.

Warnock has stated all he has had of Tan was £1.5mill this season in total.

From Sky money, earned by Malky once again

Warnock got the other £1.mill from the sale of Idriss to buy Lee Tomlin all stated by Warnock :thumbright:

Usual Suspects Changed the Topic

If you mean me Annis I was responding to a post that stated we have an owner who isn’t investing when he is.

all he has invested..?
had a couple of Leeds fans {who in fainess dont know better } say this to me on the weekend..how are you 2nd..crap team with no one playing for you spent nothing..
answer...2nd half of last season {23 games } we picked up more points than Leeds..
they sold their best 2 players for 21 mill of which they spent 15mill ,5mill of which was on players who were already on loan to leeds the previous year...so net spend minus 6mill...
we could have sold Bennett, Morrison and Zohore{ had offers for all three } for a very similar amount only our owner decided to keep them..and add .
so if a club in better form genuinely spends money shouldnt be 2nd.
you lot on minus 6 mill shouldnt be top half..?
