" Manage Lee Tomlin's game time "

It is no secret that Lee Tomlin struggles to play regularly for 90 minutes and Cardiff fans shouldn't expect him to be a fixture in the side over Christmas.
What was evident in the games against Reading and Hull however, was that Cardiff will need Tomlin from time to time.
Warnock admitted that some matches suit the mercurial No.10, and some don't.
For example you can imagine Tomlin enjoying himself against struggling Bolton on Saturday, but perhaps sitting out the clash with Fulham on Boxing Day when Cardiff must be compact against the free-flowing Cottagers. The home game against Preston might present another chance for Tomlin, the visit to Loftus Road perhaps not.
But with midfield (and forward) options limited right now, Warnock has no choice but to have faith in Tomlin and hope he produces some Christmas magic.
