Why Sean Morrison is a great player

Mon Dec 18, 2017 6:57 am

More positivity - Sean Morrison has become a rock in our defence but what are his 5 greatest assets to the team...

1. His prowess in the air, he rarely loses a defensive header
2. His distribution, he knocks the ball out simply but safely from defence
3. His attacking threat on set plays, even if he doesn't score he is a massive distraction making room for others
4. He is solid at the back, he makes a lot of tackles and comfortably wins the ball without a lot of drama
5. Any others???

A good player to have in the heart of the defence. He and Bamba are the best defensive partnership in the Championship :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

He needs a better song, his song is shit :D

Thought Bamba and Manga played exceptionally well against Hull and Manga was outsatnding, dont think we missed Morrison at all.

We're definitely lucky to have the three of them, I feel that Manga struggles sometimes against big physical forwards and isn't so good in the air as the other two, but still a good player.

Morrison hardly ever does anything that catches the eye - there's a reason for that ... he reads the game so well that he often snuffs out danger before it begins. Excellent player!

Yeh some good points both there and the little midget of Hull City did not really possess much of a threat.

Could we get away with 3-5-2?
