portsmouth have won the court case against hmrc....good news for football..in my opinion

Can anyone explain what this case was actually about?
HMRC claimed they owed one amount and Pompey claimed another?

well done pompey, i would have been gutted if pompey had lost the case and gone out of business they're a good football club with superb fans, a great result for their fans and all football supporters

adrian durham hates us as well he says welsh clubs shouldn't be allowed in the premier league, slagged us of for weeks over the coin throwing incident the man is a total dickhead.

You have to be glad for the fans of Portsmouth FC because whatever the problems are at their club it was none of their doing.

Peter Storie and Peter Ridsdale those 2 have a lot to answer for.

Many people who have been self employed can relate to this case. HMRC ALWAYS try and get more out of you then what you actually owe.

And most tax rule changes are down to the abuses within the building industry :p

as a pompey season ticket holder im just glad its over & taxman not appealing,,i just hope now we can put this behind us try & stay up, i hope also redknapp,storrie & gaydamak get punished for getting us in this mess, can you believe peter storrie used to be in on players bonuses, he d get money if we drew or won etc shocking really, all the best for new season, looking forward to your visit at end of month, nearer the time can post away-fan friendly pubs if required.
