HIGHLIGHTED NEWS29 November, 2017 Atlético Baleares :bluescarf:

Horacio Melgarejo replaces Armando de la Morena on the ATB bench

Armando de la Morena has ceased to be coach of the first team of the Balearic Athletic. The club and the coaching staff have reached an agreement to rescind the contract that linked the coach with the team until June 2019. The coach also leaves the discipline of the club, Carlos Cura, the physical trainer, Rayco Mederos Santana, and the goalkeeper coach, Daniel Aparicio. The club wants to thank the work of De la Morena and his team and wish him the best in the future.

From now on, the coach Horacio Melgarejo, who collaborated in the technical secretariat of the club, will take charge interim. Melgarejo has been the second coach of Gustavo Siviero in the Atlético Baleares the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons and also in the bench of Lleida season 2016-17, so he knows perfectly the category and group III of 2ª B. Horacio Melgarejo has the title of coach level 3 UEFA Pro and an absolute knowledge of both the club and the current staff of the ATB. Horacio Melgarejo will have the help of physical trainer Àlex Llinàs, who already worked as second coach Christian Ziege and as technical assistant to Josico last season.

Horacio leads Wednesday's training at 10; 30 hours in Son Malferit his first official training and when finished, around 12.15, he will appear before the media.

" you have to be aggressive with and no ball and for the 3 points. Today we need the 3 points, the balearic need to win and if you give me a choice I'd rather play wrong and win. I'm a club person and need me now in this post and I take it as a big challenge is a game or 15."

What a shame Tony, Atletico can have Neil Warnock next season  :bluescarf:

I was offered to meet Horacio Cruz this morning with some of the Atletico Baleares fans, but I am at the Airport now flying back to watch the Mighty Bluebirds tomorrow night. :bluescarf: :blue scarf:

Cruz ia an ex assistant coach at Atletico Baleares and apparently its only temporary.

Yes thought you were using some translator after the first few sentences.

I hope you are doing Spanish lessons out there Annis. Integrating with the local fans like you are is a great way of learning the language. I did that when I was working in Seville. However I struggled with the Saturday 9pm kick offs as I could not adapt to the afternoon siestas and was wrecked by ko as I had started the day off like I was back in the uk and that being started drinking at mid-day. Then weather out there mean't I was wrecked by 6pm 3 hours before ko. I managed to get to some games but it did not help me improving on my Spanish.
