I think the wage he would want will make him a non starter for us same with Johnson, Adam is on 40k a week!, no way will Warnock pay that or Uncle Vinnie and frankly he isn't really doing nothing for Stoke.

I wouldn't take Glen Johnson anyway as I think we have better currently.

Adam is a strange one for me, Pilkington will be shifted out surely ? that would free up roughly 20k IMO.
If we have any further departures and spend 0 cash then it covers 40k ? I'd guess he'd sign on a reduced wage also.

Warnock probably has something up his sleeve to sign 2 or 3 on a free anyway

He is creative and physical ( a thug, in fact) and can score goals.But given his age and the financial difficulties we would face next year if we fail to get promotion it would be foolish to sign him permanently in Jan. Ideally we should look to sign him on loan to the end of the season.

Or perhaps a 6 month contract with an extension providing we get promotion.
That way there could be a clause for an increase in wage the following season.

Adams could not keep up with our midfield work rate and Glenn Johnson is a has been. Don't want either. Leave it to Warnock he knows if we need any additions or not.

Agree with taking Charlei Adam. He was the difference when we played Blackpool at Wembley and would fit into our battling team nicely!
