VINCE ALM:

"What a great performance from Cardiff today, 7 players out of contention and we still managed 3 points"

"4 games in November 3 of which were away, and two of them against promotion chasing sides, 9 points fantastic return"

"Let's hope the South Wales public starts to take notice and get out and support the boys in big numbers starting with Norwich Friday, these players are running 5 rough brick walls."

Whether it was a cold wet Tuesday in Stoke or a game at Wembley we all started somewhere.

Wow you look at those next 6 fixtures and there really isn’t a lot to worry about there,I know this is the Championship but we could do some damage there
Let’s see what happens in January with the crowds as I’m sure Xmas will be the big excuse now :laughing6:

I see BBC Wales have done there bit yet again to highlight how well their local team has done. A cosy 20 second purely verbal mention and then onto video egg highlights of two games.

Back to our numbers, I'm disappointed but not entirely surprised on our relatively low attendance given where we are and with what is possibly one of the most enjoyable seasons for a long time. If we are still in the mix as the ST deadline looms, the "Gloria's" will no doubt be out in force plus the folks who only want to see the usual top 6 who they choose to support over their local team.

But why only start when we are virtually going up? Why not start going now or earlier on ?

Partly because people's money is tight so they pick and choose which games to go to. If that means picking the last few games then that their prerogative.
I think we about 10-15000 part time fans with about 1/5 of them going to a game. Trouble is its a different 1/5 each game. Can't fault the club for trying but still the end of the day you can't force people to go. If that means they choose to go once a month (inc Wales games) then that's where we're at.

"Glorias" ha ha I like it. That's what I'll call a couple of Liverpool fannies I know from now on :laughing6:

Crowds will gradually start to pick up from here on in I think, hopefully starting Friday night, the 2 games on Boxing Day and the 29th Dec will certainly be big crowds, the penny is beginning to drop with people that we are the real deal this season, and we have a great chance of promotion, we have a top class Championship manager in Warnock, who means business, we have a cracking squad and we are being talked about in favorable terms again.

Who knows we may even get some Premiership team TV fans, the delusional people who think they are fans because they watch their team play on television all their lives, no on second thoughts sod them, leave them sit in their armchairs.

I fancy it Friday as long as it's not too cold. I really don't like being cold at a match, mind you the faggots and peas at half time are good.
