' Neil Warnock Speaks after Bristol City Defeat & Explains '

Mendez-Laing injury

Warnock confirms Mendez-Laing felt his thigh pull but doesn’t think it’s too bad.

Neil Warnock:

I thought he was doing very well too, Omar. And it meant I couldn’t put Tomlin on as early as I did.

I thought we were very good before the red card.

Warnock on referee Mike Jones

I expect the ref to be consistent. Today I didn’t think he was consistent. I thought the booking on Peltier in the first two minutes was minimal and the worst tackle in the game was Pack on Bamba. He’d already been booked and after 48 minutes he should have been off.
I have no complaints on the red card. But I don’t know why he didn’t give Pack a yellow card. It’s ironic that he’s the one that got done for the sending off.

Personally I think it's time for change and we now need to be more attacking minded, there are now teams in the championship smashing goals in for fun. There's talk on the forum what a good partnership Zohore and Bogle would be up front, I agree we need to be on the front foot from the start and go for the jugular, because unless we mix it up we're going to continue our slippery slide.

I love the way after every defeat it oh so dramatic. We are where we are on merit and how we been playing. I doubt any manager is just going to start changing that.
