Bonfire night

Oh no I feel it's that time of year again! For about 2-3 weeks fireworks will be going off here there and everywhere. Not to mention the few nights around and including the 5th. I just can't u der stand the fascination. Ok I understand they look good and ESP as part of a display. I used to go to firework displays as a youngster but now certainly wouldn't bother. I feel sorry for all the poor animals that are petrified due to the noise and the smell of smoke on bonfire night from various displays in the air nearly choking me! My dog absolutely hates fireworks and I usually have to turn the to up so loud to try and avoid her hearing them but of course she almost listens out for it now! She shakes all night and hides in the cupboard despite buying a few products to try and calm her down. My cats are so scared too. Obviously I'm not the only one as quite a few of my friends have the same problems. I used to take her out in the car but you can't seem to get away from them.

Again dont get me wrong I used to go to displays and have my own fireworks (as a teenager) but it's a very stressful time of the year for some and personally cannot wait until it's over. I heard that some countries have silent fireworks so why can we do that here? That would be so much better. Despite the smell of smoke atleast some of us wouldn't have to endure the racket!

I don't think they should be sold to the public personally. Enough displays about.
