great result but---

another disappointing attendance --the club and manager have done everything they can but still cant get the support they deserve--what more can they do ?

Nothing.we just have to accept as throughout the history of the club our support only turns out in force when a big name club is in town. 11000 difference in the attendance between tonight game and the Leeds even though we've maintained our league position.

Not a lot more can be done so it’s time to just worry about ourselves and make sure we still go.

Wish people would stop moaning and enjoy where we are. If people don't wana come then stuff them. We're only 15 games in, many fans still don't truly believe we're worthy of going up and we're still recovering from the rebrand and OGS/Slade era. Give it a few months and they'll be a few more in the 20k's.

So if what you say is true why did 27000 people this season turn up to watch city play Leeds but cant be arsed to watch us play Ipswich ?.

Because they basically give the tickets away against leeds. Im a ST holder and had 4 extra tickets at a fiver each. We just have to take it on the chin that the plastics only come out when its cheap or we are playing a big team. Sad i know but hey ho thats modern football for you

It really is that simple add to tha most people enjoy the Leeds rivalry.

At the end of the day lots or people have a reason not to go and if they don't want to then they won't. It's not mandatory that you have to go to every game if your a fan

As i said when they turn up if the tickets are discounted and only for the big teams. Fair enough if you cannot make all the games but sadly people will only turn up when we are playing big teams. Look at the premier league season for a prime example

Does it really matter if we attract plastic fans? People complain about low attendances and then complain that our attendance is boosted by plastics. So what it if they only turn up for the big games. Clearly the hardcore fan base we have enjoy the football more than they do but when they do come they don't negatively impact us or the game

Valid point and I agree. We are not a big club, but we need as many fans behind us as possible to help the promotion bid.

Very true. As Warnock and the players have said before the atmosphere of a good crowd helps. Having the backing of more supporters helps for a better atmosphere and better performance on the pitch. So it seems odd how certain people complain when we get a large attendance (Leeds, Bristol, PL) when it's both beneficial for a more entertaining experience and better team performance. :ayatollah:
