At the game today ?

He has learnt his lessons whilst fans will not forget the rebrand - it is time we all moved on. He and the committee seem to be doing things the right way now, appointing a football manager and supporting him sensibly in the transfer market.

I am concerned by the purchase of Tomlin and why he is not playing - it does seem strange that NW does not want to play him.

Three points today please :ayatollah:

Neil Warnock is doing well, 100% down to Neil Warnock as Tan finally let a proper manager do it his way :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

One minute he is Tan the Dictator who only hires yes men, and now he is backed into a corner with no other choice. Seems to me that like any other human being he has made mistakes but learnt from and rectified them.

Probably popped in on his way to the Joshua fight tonight.

I wonder if he'll be there on Tuesday night?

He also restored it.

Nobody is expected to like or even agree with the bloke but your negative posts only keep the positivity away.

Just an observation but the traffic on this site has gotten a lot worse and I would suggest that your constant negative views have fuelled that.

Vincent Tan once said to me personally "there will be a Red Revolution in your house"

I replied "Never, I am Blue"

He replied "There will be, I always get what I want"

I replied "I promise you Never"

A football club is its fans and traditions. Traditions include the colour of the shirt. That is how everyone identifies the club.

Tan tried to create us in his own image and he failed. The best of it all is he failed those who supported him. The same people who are now telling us to move on because they took it up the backside.

Spot on Ian :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

I was told many times to accept it and move on time and time again, now the same people saying the same, you could not make it up.

Well I can never forget or forgive Tan or them.

I'll move on when Tan leaves and he takes his followers with him. Mind you it would help if he publicly apologised but he is not man enough to do that just like his followers.

Can you remind me which 2 and a half years we were shut down
IMO tan will be remembered for many reasons by many people
It's upto the individual to decide which

I didnt accept the rebrand at all but I am willing to move on and view the man in his entirety.

You may not see it but you are keeping it going and creating a divide.

Do you think that tan has done any good for city?

i know blokes that stopped because of the toxicity around the place.. and yes the start of that was the rebrand ..trouble is the rebrand is history the toxicity remains and its not Tan that is bitter and keeping it going.or infact Tan that won.
you yourself have said you do not want to be promoted while he is here..
as for followers i dont think he has any...its a pretty silly idea to think he has. he is simply the owner and at the moment a pretty good owner.

Re: ' Vincent Tan '

Sun Oct 29, 2017 1:23 pm

Welll guess the fans that hate tan would be happier having some of the great owners like roysten at Blackpool, charltons owners, Blackburns venkies? None of afore mentioned have changed despite fan pressure! And the list is endless owners come & go good or bad and whos to say next owners are any better than them? I've supported city for 40 odd yrs and take absolutely no interest in what owner's do
As cannot influence who owner is, i just support the team on the pitch
If fans are bitter about tan that's their parogative doesn't mean other fans like him either thet are just not bothered and thats their parogative ....

The traffic actually has increased each year , only goes quite when Wales play, I am entitled to my views/ opinions and will continue with them, like you are entitled to yours, or are you trying to dictate like a the Dictator did?
Everyone is allowed their views or opinions, if you don't like them just don't open or read them simple, but it's a free world to say how I still feel and won't be silenced by no regime or followers of that regime :thumbright: :bluescarf:

I hardly mention him nowadays and it's usually after he appears or makes pathetic statements. We're not in Russia or Japan, we are allowed to speak :thumbright:

To be fair, think Annis was the voice against from the start (maybe even a lone voice) But sometimes don't we just have to move on??

Thank you Paul(Head of Sport), for your very honest Response. Never Did I ever back/Support or even ask Vincent Tan to stay.

Tan has NOT restored our identity though has he??

We have a blue and red abortion of a badge with a 'Chinese' dragon on it and an altered Bluebird.

We are not blue, white and yellow any more.

There is still red around the ground (outside of the Canton Stand etc).

We still have the red seats.

So he still has not restored the rebrand to what it was before.

and he should.

your post highlights how different people view identity.
altered the bluebird.? there have been many variations but the one currently used is identical to many previous badges..
and yellow might have been in your favourite kit..or been worn when you started watching..and i loved the 1976 kit myself ..but like red it is no more our historic colour than red.
