There was about 600-650 at a push mate, about the same as what QPR brought.

Never a thousand, not even close, I was quite shocked as had read they had sold over 1,000 tickets.

Agreed, 600-650 tops. And as for the 6hr journey, what did they come by - post?

Yeah I'm sorry there was not 1,000 Millwall fans in that stadium like you said it was between 600- 750. And 6 hours? I assumed it was 2-3 hours from Millwall

As you said Stephen, Millwall announced officially that they had sold over 900 tickets a few days before the game.

Rem that section can hold 2,500 fans.

To drive to Millwall from Cardiff it would take 3hrs, so that makes it a 6hr rd journey, if you read properly.

They were very quiet yesterday and well behaved. Softies :laughing6: I passed a couple of their fatties in their forties tucking into a packet of Jelly a Babies near Asda. Well Ard.

Official was 1000 although it did look and sound less.

Maybe some got tickets and didn't bother, or did what many of our fans do and stayed underneath in the bar

That depends entirely on where you are sat.
I was in 116 and they were singing and chanting plenty. They were a lot louder and more consistent than our lot in the Canton.

They might have sold 1,000 tickets but there definitely weren't 1,000 in the ground. Can only think some had arranged to go to the boxing and had bought tickets for the game as well, but once they got to Cardiff decided to stay in town and go straight to the fight. To me it looked around 600 or 700.

If they sold 1000 then it does beg the question where the other 400 or so decided to go. I wouldn't blame them if they stayed in the bar downstairs and missed what turned out to be a boring game with no atmosphere.

I did read it properly, you didn't write it properly - I took rd to mean "road".
And since when have you included travel to & from the ground in the journey times?
Didn't notice the 10hrs to Sunderland/Boro nor 8-9hrs to Preston that City fans would have to travel?

Lately I have started to put rd in most clubs away support but for you in future I will put out round :thumbright:

Yes I do know we took 600 fans to Sunderland and 450 fans to Boro and 300 plus to Preston and I think we were top of the League for some of these games or at least 2nd in the League, I always put what we take away, I guarantee you I do :thumbright: :bluebird:

The point your all now avoiding is, that Cardiff City & Millwall both Say Millwall brought over a 1,000 fans, not me saying it :thumbright:

Not me. They'd sold 900 by Monday, so no doubt they sold 1000+, but it was clear at the game that there was a lot less than that actually there.

Could be many reasons for that- not that it really mattered.

At Fulham we officially had 3300 there, but given there were several hundred in the neutral section it was more like 4000, maybe more.

At many other games we have a less in the ground than official figures as loads decide to stay in the bar.

Thanks Tim :thumbright:

When Carl and I saw the photo we both actually said theres about 800 Millwall there, so I went on CCFC & Millwall's official twitter accounts and they said 1,005 Millwall. And as you said earlier in the week they said Millwall had sold 900.

I agree Tim, I have seen on many away City games, loads stay down in the bars during the game.

The point with the other posters was, their pathetic sarcasm and they thought they had caught me out, but then they dissappear when I was right all along.
