' CRAIG BRYSON SPEAKS AT PRESS CONFERENCE '

CRAIG BRYSON:

"We had to bounce back at Boro because no-one played well against Birmingham. The gaffer gave a chance to pretty much the same side and we got a good result."

"Millwall work hard and chase every ball and if we can match work-rate and desire hopefully our quality will come through."

The on-loan midfielder has been asked how he is settling into Cardiff City life...

"Everyone in football knows about the gaffer. He’s a character and had a lot of success."

'The two months I’ve been here he’s been excellent. How he sets his team up, how he looks after players, I only have good things to say. He gets everybody on-side and everybody in dressing room wants to do well for him. Even those not in side have that desire."

Bryson hails ‘unbelievable’ Cardiff City team spirit
By Joshua Slack

Craig Bryson hailed Cardiff City’s team spirit as one of the best he’s ever been involved in ahead of tomorrow’s home clash against Millwall at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Bryson, who was a loan signing from Derby County in the summer was full of praise for the team’s spirit and also acknowledged what an impact Neil Warnock has already had since his deadline day move to the Welsh Capital.

The 30 year-old has looked at home in the midfield area so far in his Cardiff City career and has also chipped in with a goal and an assist in the six appearances he’s made so far.

And with Millwall in the Welsh Capital tomorrow, Bryson was speaking ahead of the clash and praised the togetherness within the squad.

“We put a lot of work that may have got unnoticed but that’s what we do. The team spirit is probably one of the best I have been involved in throughout my career.”

The Scottish midfielder also acknowledged the impact that Neil Warnock has had since his move to South Wales and that he is enjoying life at the Bluebirds.

“I think everyone in football knows about him (Neil Warnock) – he’s had a lot of success and stuff – he’s been excellent for me and his man management is great. I can’t have any complaints about him.”

“Even if you aren’t in the starting XI, you have the desire to get in the team.”

Bryson has thrived since his move and is admirable of the strength in depth the team has within its disposal following the 1-0 win over Middlesbrough last weekend.

“It shows you the strength and depth we have in the squad – Danny Ward come in and played really well, too. I am Just glad we come away with a performance, three points and a win”

Millwall come into the game back off a 2-0 win over Birmingham City and it could be a real physical test for the Bluebirds tomorrow but the on-loan Derby County midfielder believes there is enough quality in the squad to see off Neil Harris’ men.

“They’ve started the reason quite well – if we can match their work rate and desire, hopefully our quality will shine through.”

With the Bluebirds currently occupying second spot behind Wolverhampton Wanderers, there appears to be a real buzz amongst the camp and feeling they can reach the Premier League this season.

“I can’t see why we won’t be up there come the end of the season. Most teams that our up there around Christmas are usually up there come the end of the season.”

After getting limited game time at Derby County, Bryson is just appreciating the opportunities he is getting at the moment and is enjoying life under the guidance of Warnock.
