Even though a lot of our fans are disappointed with some of our attendances, we are still averaging slightly more than our neighbours down West.

These are very disappointing stats to read in my opinion. Certainly not the worst in the league but we're playing good football, winning games, manager and players are trying their best for the club and over a third of our stadium is still empty. The club always have offers on for cheap tickets and a normal match day ticket/season ticket wouldn't break the bank for most either. Let's get properly behind the club and give the players and manager the support they deserve! :bluescarf:

Although having said that, I'm probably preaching to the converted as most people on here regularly attend games I imagine!

Sounds about right! All the teams above us are generally better supported plus we dont know breakdown of away fans boosting crowds? EG, just one mid derby will effect average crowd. Of villa/brum

Allan the average away support to Leeds United is not as big as many thought it would be, 1,980 due to £40 a ticket. Aston Villa is approx 2,300 as the max they give is 2,800. Derby County's is 2,360, Sheff Wed 3,100 and to clubs like Sheffield United its,2,450, this is fans visiting these clubs.
So their home averages still stay very high.

Its clubs like Barnsley/ Preston, very small clubs who allow 5,000 visiting fans as their real home supports are about 9,500. Always been small clubs, yet funny though they take quite big away supports.

Rem Cardiff are allowed over 3,700 supporters for Bristol City away and 4,500 to Reading and 4,500 to Fulham.

I know annis but like said position about right as all clubs above us are generally better supported anyway!

And wouldn't be surprised that average support over the season at our ground is lower than most in championship! But things are improving and will continue to do so unless we drastically fall away after Xmas!

the year we went up we averaged 22,999...not a million miles off what our average is now..

it was the 3rd largest average that season...BUT..would only put us 10th this season..
the average away following that year for all championship clubs was 1,323...with Leeds leading the way with an average of 2,678..

seems to me its not so much ours have dropped a lot. more a case of us looking worse in COMPARISON to other clubs because their attendances both home and away have grown...?
i dont know why

Thats what I've been saying for months or even a year most clubs home/away support outside the Premier have been going up the last few yrs, yet ours is finally increasing after the best start you can only dream off and twice as many fans come here than 4/5 yrs ago.

Our away support dropped drastically and home support, hopefully it increases ASAP as City on and off the field are doing everything they can. :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:
