' Update on Kenneth Zohore '
Neil Warnock will know this Wednesday or Thursday if Kenneth Zohore will be fit to play Millwall
Neil Warnock said:
“It happened in training on Friday with no-one near him – he just caught his studs in his turf and affected the back of his ankle.
He’s actually ruptured his ankle ligaments which sounds terrible, but as daft as it seems, he might be fit for Saturday and at this moment it is looking that way"
“Apparently it’s not a ligament you need and you could cut it off and use it elsewhere in your body if you needed to; it’s not weight-bearing so it’s just sore and when he comes out of that pain by this Wednesday or Thursday, he will be fit.”
Kenneth Zohore’s presence in the line-up gives Cardiff a central figure to work around and he has an eye for goal.
With fifteen goals to his name for Cardiff so far since joining on a permanent deal, Zohore is getting better as he gets older and more experienced.
