I imagine the reason they didn't give Sheffield united the full stand was due to an history of violence.

They have had plenty of problems with leeds in the past remmber the Friday night game when dave Jones was the Sheffield Wednesday manger one of the Leeds fans ran on the pitch and attacked the goalkeeper and they still gave them four thousand tickets
