Skiing Resorts

Any recommendations for skiing resorts in Europe? We are intermediate skiers, ideally quick lift queues, Cardiff/Bristol flights. Google brings up far too many, any recommendations greatly appreciated!?

Andorra - fly to Toulouse, car hire easy self drive into mountains. Stay in Soldeu, near main ski lift. Not at bottom of the hill unless you like a walk up a hill for a pint. Book your hotel on line - easy peasy.
Loads of snow and loads of linked slopes.
There is a resort at the other end of the system, but it looks like it is just purpose built hotels.

Or La Plagne - mega ski slopes.

Val d'lsere.

I go once a year that's the best place I have been. Good slopes and good nightlife.

Sestriere Italy, hotel du col fantastic place for all levels , Val Thorenz fab also, too many to choose from, check out the half term dates for british, france and Italy , try and avoid them if possible, cues can be a nightmare, good luck. :bluescarf:

Thanks for the info lads. It will be for half term probs, too much choice like you say. Red runs, wide slopes, speedy lift queues, from Cardiff/Bristol, a few decent pubs & I think I have found a winner. Val d'Isère pricey?
