Would still be a very tight game and I think we'd have to give Swansea a little credit for their team, which is very strong in any competition other than the Premier League! ;)

City won't particularly want a big FA Cup run this season and I think Neil Warnock will use it to give certain others an opportunity in a competitive game. I have no issue with that, so long as we are still 'in the mix' for promotion come January 2018 :ayatollah:

I think NW will play the strongest side he can against them as he knows the importance to fans of this game.

It would be interesting now, the top of the Chapionship teams always give the bottom of the premier league a game. I would fancy our chances at the moment especially with Warnocks attitude and appreciation of the imoportance to us fans.

It would be a distraction, the League is is tye most important priority this season.

I was thinking the lack of local derby games is an advantage, every game bar maybe Bristol City is just the potential fur three more points.

Up North there are lots of teams not that far apart, so they have quite a few local rivals.

Allan, I think we would give them a game and I think he would oblige, as he (a) knows what it means to us fans, and (b) he loves that kind of game; particularly when his team are the perceived underdog :thumbright:

My point was that Swansea's team isn't a poor one other than in Premier League terms and if we didn't draw them in the 3rd Round, I don't believe Neil Warnock would prioritise many other teams in that competition at the expense of our League season :ayatollah:

Agree top premiership club may tempt him to play strongest team aswell! As for swans if their fans take stats seriously they are in trouble? Clements as a good pedigree regarding jobs but they have not been as a 1st team coach/manager, he failed as 1st team coach when he did have one. :old:

If you played us now in a League game whether it be at the Lib or at yours, we would absolutely slaughter you 0-0 or maybe even 0-0 if we were really on our game. Cup would be different however. After a 0-0 in the first leg, one of us would score at least 5 in the replay.

Jack! Can see you winning a replay but by 5? Only if we play development side against you! :laughing6:
