“ WE HAVE A WINNER - MOTM ON TUESDAY “

Fri Sep 29, 2017 10:35 pm

It’s taken two votes, but we have a winner for the Leeds United at home Man of the Match vote :ayatollah:

Your winner is JUNIOR HOILETT.

In the original vote, Hoilett and Sol Bamba each received 70 votes. They both got 45% of the 156 votes. As it was a tie, we had a second stage vote just between Hoilett and Bamba. Hoilett received 40 votes, while Bamba received 39.

Very, very close but Junior Hoilett just wins it :ayatollah:

The Canadian winger now joins Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Craig Bryson on two MOTM awards at the top of the table.

Massive thank you to all who voted, the next vote is tomorrow against Derby County at home :ayatollah:

Updated table so far below :thumbright:

2017/18 MAN OF THE MATCH WINNERS

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing - 2 (August Player of the Month :ayatollah: )
Joe Ralls - 2
Junior Hoilett - 2
Craig Bryson - 2
Sean Morrison - 1
Matthew Kennedy - 1
Cameron Coxe - 1

Hoilett was fantastic Tuesday, but Bamba was a class above everyone else. He put his heart and sole into that performance which inspired the whole team. His reactions in the second half showed what it meant to him and Warnocks response to Bamba at the final whistle shows what he thought of his performance. In my eyes BAMBA was and deserved MAN OF THE MATCH by miles.

The vote says otherwise and I as I said, Hoilett was fantastic but I feel that some can't see passed his goal.

Can't wait for Derby game. The return of Joe Ledley! :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluescarf:

Your comment makes it look like he is your reason for attending!

Not sure if you've been reading the threads of late but Joe Ledley is a Ram and should be treated as so in a tough game that could keep CARDIFF CITY at the top of the Championship table at the expense of Joe and his butties!

Priorities folks, priorities! ;) :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Can't see past his goal, Hoilet yes scored a great goal but laid on the other two, the first he dumped three players on there arse and for the third I don't think we will see a better goal this season the build up where Hoilet had about 4/5 touches the football was fantastic.

Yes Bamba had a great game like many others but a player who scores one of the three goals and lays on the other two in my book deserves the credit and MOM award.

I agree. I can certainly see past his goal, and also saw how he put our first goal on a plate for Zohore, and the big part he played in our third goal as well. Either player would have been worthy of the man of the match award, and it is not only this forum who chose Hoilet as man of the match. All about opinions, and all in all it was a great team performance.
