' Rotation is key '
Never been a massive fan of the rotation method, and the back four and gk am still not overly keen on more than one change but I think if you can change two maybe three as Warnock has shown of late then it can work really well and especially in the championship.
Forced through injury or not, for me the three players who didn't feature at the stadium of light junior bamba and demour clearly benefited from the rest and were fantastic. I can honestly say I don't have a preferred 3 in the middle, I guess you go with who's fit in form and who you are playing. The work rate and high energy needed in the middle can't be maintained three times in a week, Warnock learnt this at Preston.
Look it won't always work, and some will point that out when we get beat but it's a competitive league and your going to get beat regardless. Unfairly in my opinion questions were asked after two respectable draws and a defeat in three, if that's bad form the Cardiff will certainly be in the mix.
As good as we were on Tuesday, and we did take our foot off the gas. I would make a few changes once more although we do have an international break looming. Kadeem and Patterson will bring more energy and freshness at some point.
Interesting. Opinions?

Rotation is certainly necessary during a tough season and we now appear to have a squad that can play without weakening the team; but I'll simply say that Neil Warnock is the key!

Great post, like you I am not a big fan of rotation just for a the sake of it. However the Championship is about the toughest league in Europe and is a 46 match grind, so keeping players fresh is a key part of getting promotion.
The big difference this year is that Warnock can make 2/3 changes every game and not weaken the team..that's the key to a successful rotation policy

The big bonus is after the international break we should have Lee Camp back competing with Etheridge for the number 1 jersey, Calum Paterson will also be back and Kadeem Harris shouldn't be too far away either.

I also think it depends on which team we play .
Every team has different tactics , the fact we have breadth and depth and game changers on the bench and even extended squad means we`ll certainly compete well this season .

Well I could point to OGS and his rotation system which didn't exactly work out too well
That said the best exponent of the rotation system was Sir Alex Ferguson who often referred to 'freshening' things up. I back that policy 100% as it not only gives players a rest but it can also throw the opposition off. For example they work all week on how to combat Zohore only to find he doesn't play and we use Danny Ward instead, who has a completely different game.
The Preston game is a great example in that we were going a little stale by then and needed some new energy which unfortunately didn't happen.
