Craig Bryson has been speaking about travelling to face Cardiff City when representing Derby County.

The midfielder moved to the Welsh club on deadline day on a season-long loan deal.


Speaking to the club's website, Bryson remarked on how difficult it was playing against Cardiff when with the Rams, saying "the fans get right behind the team".

He added: "I’ve known as an opposition player with Derby going to Cardiff, it was never nice and Cardiff always up their game at home.


Bryson netted his first goal for the Bluebirds in last weekend's 2-1 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

"On a personal note it was fantastic for me to get a goal for Cardiff City but I think the main thing is that the team won and we’re back to winning ways."

Bit of a misleading title, he never says it wasn't nice playing FOR them. He says it was never nice playing against them.
