Hey jude was sung last night would be nice to have new chants and songs but in truth as long as everyone sings the songs we do have making a great atmosphere so the players on the pitch know the fans are with them that's all that matters to me also I was not too impressed with Leeds variety of songs which consisted of marching on together and the genius titled we are Leeds

I don't think we need it to be honest we can sing it without the music nothing is stopping us but I get what your saying

A mate wrote to me on Facebook earlier today saying how his Dad was with him at the Leeds game and commented that we have turned into PSG with the songs. Having witnessed a bunch of us at the back of 103 who love a singalong, he kindly requested that we attempt to bring some of the old school songs back.

Additionally, at the Leeds game, I was approached by a guy who asked us to get “oh when the blues go marching in” going as he claimed it was an old school Cardiff song from his era. I explained that I very much doubted the song would spread across the Canton, pointing to our energetic Sol Bamba chant as an example of how we struggle to get songs going on mass due to our location. We tried and failed all the same.

The aforementioned got me wondering what old school songs have died off over the years and do we have less player related songs nowadays?
