Very true. I was very anxious before the game and even more so with the stop/start first 20 but once junior banged in that second we were never going to lose it, regardless of the red card. I remember us doing Brighton last year at home like this and they went and dominated the season but I just don't see Leeds doing that, I've not seen enough yet because of the teams they've faced and they've been behind twice and lost both games.

Yeah but to be fair Preston could have said the same about us as well. I think we were too strong for them tonight and their team had an off day.

I thought they did what their tin said they would do and passed the ball around exceptionally well for a long period of the first half. They didn't give much away passing-wise until the first goal and the sending off was highly significant!

We were the better side on the night, won the battle and it could have been by more and with a clean sheet but to call Leeds a poor side tonight is a little disingenuous to both sides; City who won a fair game and Leeds to did okay with 10 men!

Just be happy with the win and we'll move on to hosting Derby this Saturday!

Leeds passed the ball well early but once we settled down we were far superior throughout. I actually thought Leeds were a better team once the lad was sent off The boy Phillips could have walked as well after his early yellow when he continued to keep fouling however I thought the referee had a very good game to be fair.

The third goal put us on easy street after they had come out and had a little go at the start of the second half, which I fully expected them to do.

Agree Jim, they haven't played the better teams in the league and that showed last night as we are a lot better than Leeds, they will finish around 8th imo they haven't got enough tools to hurt the better teams in the league.

I thought their passing was average wernt really going anywhere besides the goal didn't have a tidy shot as far as I can remember ? Just pointless passing. Sheff UTD were a better passing team imo a lot better than Leeds, I thought the right back for Leeds was decent glided up and down the pitch well, he looked quite dangerous.

Etheridge had a good double save early in the second half. Conceding then could have seen a totally different half.....though I doubt it!
