Tony, it use to be 20,000.
It will start at 12,000 as remember Atletico Baleares are still in Segunda B (Div 3) and they only get 3,000 home crowds nowadays.
6 years ago they did get crowds of up to 12,000, but then after losing their home and moving twice and No promotions for 52 years, its best not to go to big.
I watched Atletico Baleares in their old stadium about 14 times and really am excited for them to return their, it had a hostile/passionate atmosphere![]()

12000 makes sense. The picture of the old stadium is awesome it looks a right bear pit. I really hope everything goes well as every club should have a spiritual home.

Chris, so many of their fans were broken when they had to leave the old stadium and many thought they would never return.
Even I was hurt, How do I always end up involved with clubs with so much politics / sadness![]()
Anyway really excited by this. Chris imagine City playing in there in a friendly

First because Atletico Baleares were BLUE and Tan had just turned us Red, was the reason for my first game there and when I went, the atmosphere was so passionate and like a real old stadium, I thought like this and every holiday I kept going back again until I moved here, but sadly they lost that stadium, but brilliant news announced today:thumb right:

That would be good especially if you can get both sets of fans United and make a real atmosphere. Add the sunshine maybe turn it into a mini break take Mrs and kids. Me and my son go to the gameclass

City vs. Atletico Baleares would be a fitting stadium opening game, although I can't see City playing a friendly in March when we are on the verge of gaining promotion

Well your a meticulous type of guy Annis and I'm sure before moving to Spain you did due diligence checking out schools, airports, cost of living and if the local football team played in Blue and had a history of political infighting
