It's a shame that we can't ever get the place like that. The last time I was at a game and it came close to the atmosphere at an international was the Palace semi. The prem season was big crowds but wasn't that great an atmosphere.

It annoys me when people moan about the stadium, it's a great stadium and fans can generate a great atmosphere.

Next season if we're in the PL - you just watch, that place will be full

Once again the myth has been put to bed.

That place was bouncing tonight, I was sat on the half way line of the Grandstand, I was pretty much half way between the Canton and the Austrian fans and it was fantastic, even the family stand was rocking,

When the entire Canton stand was doing the der der der der's clap clap MOH it was absolutely phenomenal and the NA just before we scored spine tingling.

I'v seen many football games in many countries and the atmosphere at the CCS in the last 2 Welsh Qualifying campaign has been up there with the best of them

I take it you weren't at the Man City game !!??

Man City was the highlight of the season, it was all downhill from there in

Even NP didn't have great noise, the greatness end had no roof for years and the sound went nowhere. It used to hold 40,000 and most if the time there was less than 10,000, only when we became successful and the capacity came down did it get really noisy v Leeds etc....

That's a good call!

Certainly the most 'nervy' atmosphere I've been in since we moved there, as Leicester almost turned it around and it was one of those 'long' evenings! :ayatollah:

i thought the league game against them towards the end of the same season where Gypres took one for the team..Burke could barely walk let alone run. and our fans became an extra man with us clinging on to the points for about 15 minutes was as good as its been.

Agreed, that was a special one too. Winning with 9 men was some battle, I seem to remember Quinn having to play centre back and having a stormer !!

Not just Quinn!

We ended up with a back four of (L-R) Whitts, Capaldi, Quinn, Matthews!
